Windower Question

Ok, so Ive switched to comp, and of course I want Windower.

I dl'd unzipped etc. On the ReadMe I'm supposed to give windower.ini my screen size/resolution. I dont really know where that is or where that option is. So when I launch windower when it goes to the "accept" "decline" part it stops and POL shuts down.

Just curious as to what is causing this and how to stop it. Thank ya.

I'm probably just beeing stupid.........

Right-click your desktop and go to Properties. Then go to the Settings tab there. That should tell you your resolution.


Most people use either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.

Yeah i know my res is 1024x768. I just dont know if windower knows that and thats the problem. BTW 3.21 didnt do anything different.

Look for this in windower.ini, it's near the top:

#Defines the window size, for fullscreen, set to the size of your desktop
#Standard resolutions are 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, etc.
X Resolution=1280
Y Resolution=1024

Change the values to match your resolution then fire up windower.

im kind of having a problem finding "windower.ini" it isnt among the stop that is extracted from the zip.

then you might want to check where u got that windower from, and make sure u didnt get a cracekd copy thats filled with keylogers and such to take ur acount ifnormation. i personaly would completly whipe that windower off, scan comp, then restart from a trusted webstie or grab it from a FRIEND

It's not that hard to find...the file just says "windower".

I figured the problem out. I changed that one thing which didnt help, but under the archived section of posts in windowers forum there was a thread about this. Basically.....I need a new graphics card lol, which needed to get done anyway. Must find a way to get money lol.
