For some reason (and this is a spelling error that has nothing to do with Blazn for once ^^), my biggest pet peeve in this entire damn game is when someone says "Windhurst". God dammit its gettin me fired up right now just thinkin about it. Every time someone types that i just want to reach right through my computer screen and choke them. Arrrrgh!

You would absoloutly LOVE Boston. They add "r"s to the ending of words. Randomly. IE idea becomes idear. Why you may ask? I think theres something in the water or something...

On the Windurst thing though, I haven't really seen anyone spell that incorrectly, so never really bothered me much if I saw it once or twice.
 
I say "yeh" instead of both "yes" AND "you" (IRL..). No one really cares to correct me though, so bleh..

But random babble aside, isn't this just the mini-me of Grammar Nazi-ism?

Well, I dunno. I kinda like Windurst being in first place, because I can buy a ton of Merc. Capt. belt's and toss 'em up on the AH. Thats a nice little profit there. And it wont happen unless Windy is in first place. So, it isnt -totally- pointless. Just not full of points.

On-topic, I think people spell Windurst incorrectly due to its phonetic nature. Type in Windurst into Microsoft Sam (@XP computers anyhow), listen to how he says it. It sure sounds like there should be an H in there somewhere. It sounds like Windhurst, like you know, one of those funeral cars, although its actually spelled like the last name of that guy from Limp Bizkit.

I blame hooked on Phonics.

my history teacher says "idear" all the time, i never asked him though..Gonna see if he's from Boston

LOL dude don't for get the say things like

They leave out R's aswell. i had the hardest time listening to teachers there XD
