1) Stating things that are common sense and relevant to a topic is apparently "trolling".

You goddamn troll.

uhh, 8 o'clock last night I got a PM from him. His last post was 10 minutes before that.

Yea but we did, and it happened, so isn't it better to let people know down the road what these guys will do? I mean if people would really rather not have it sorry. I figured it was the right thing to do.

It was the right thing to do. You never got on here and said that JDA was perfect or that you guys didn't do anything wrong -- it was a simple warning to the community about a new shell and people had to shit all over it.

Heaven forbid that the flameboard actually be used for something productive like getting the word out about a new shell MPKing. Is it breaking news? Probably not, but that doesn't mean that it won't be helpful to someone.

I wish I could rate Wink up more often :/

Me too. :(

Before anyone else posts about this, please consider these things:

1. Anyone who would need this warning about King camping was witness to it in the first place. If the name and reputation of the new ls is high-level HNM camping, I highly doubt you're gonna see them at Mee Deggi.

2. Do a flameboard search on Serise. Read the threads that come up. Realize that HNM camping extends beyond just what you have seen in the past 3 months. Shells come and go, but Serise has been a fuck for forever.

3. Ask yourself how come no legit shells have shared this experience yet. Anyone who is posting about being mpk'd at fafnir hasn't been in the game long enough to realize its part of what happens there.

4. /blockaid on
5. /blockaid on
6. /blockaid on
7. /blockaid on
8. Repeat 4-7 until it sinks in.

Ask yourself if disliking Serise justifies jumping all over a person posting a warning -- regardless of whether or not you think it's helpful. Even if this shell isn't likely to be at a regular NM camp, that doesn't mean that it's members won't be on occasion. Personally, I like to know what shells to look out for and distrust on site.

Everyone knows that blockaid should be on. Repeating it over and over isn't helpful, it's an excuse to gloat over a shell you don't like. I'm not saying that your dislike of Serise isn't justified; I'm just saying that it doesn't really have a place in this flame. Eor posted a warning so people have a heads up on a new shell on the server and likely to let off some steam. The rest of this shit belongs in it's own flame.

Just like those 3 consecutive dynamis zones you were in where I warned you about the dipshit. Instead of keeping your people out of the zone, you fucked us over to keep with Serise's plan.

You don't listen to warnings, expect this shit to happen.

Don't blame us, blame your brilliant leader. He is the reason you will never get respect on qcdn, and the same reason I lost all respect I had for you.

Please re-read the entire thread. Eor was warned about how he would be perceived if he decided to continue with serise long, long ago. The replies from experienced end-game persona that he has received are all completely warranted

So if the warning came from someone in another HNM shell it would be valid, but because it comes from someone in JDA it isn't? Want to make sure I'm clear on what your meaning is...

A reputable shell has the right to flame someone for MPKing.

Someone who has a history for notorious MPK attempts does not.

Considering who your ls leader is, I find this flame highly amusing considering his history...

My first post. I just said it was highly amusing that someone from this shell would flame someone for MPKing.

Although Eor is in JDA he is not a linkshell, he's a person. He's not Serise. As far as I know Eor himself does not have a history of MPKing. Even if he did it's not really relevant because I'd still want to know to watch out for this particular shell.

Regardless of your lack of respect for who he runs with I think a lot of community members like to know what shells to watch out for. I for one appreciate the warning.

I have a lot of respect for most of what you and Rappa post, but I think that in this case you're both reading too far into this. It was a simple warning about a new shell. If you want to flame Eor or JDA more then do so in your own flame. Then I can come over there and give a great (albeit immaterial) friend's defense.

Eor was flamed as a part of a linkshell. This is when he received multiple warnings about the repercussions for running with Serise. He decided to continue on. If he runs with that shell, he has to understand the repercussions.

Again, why are you making me repeat myself. Anyone who would be interacting with this new shell already witnessed the event first hand. This happened near NA primetime, shortly after server reset. Everyone who cares about Kings was at the fafnir camp, and saw it happen.

If you've experienced end-game for a length of time, you realize shells like this come and go. So far everyone that has posted in Eor's defense is not an experienced end-game player. The only end-game players that have replied realize the comedic value of the situation.

Eor is a person, not a linkshell. But with that, Eor had the choice to join up with JDA. Since he did, despite me writing it out for him in mono-sylabic words what I would feel of him if he continued on with them, and he did.

Just as eor's trying to educate the public about a new-mpk'ing linkshell, I'm educating the public about a pot calling a kettle black.

I really don't see why it's so hard for some of us to just take a friendly warning post for what it is.

Not every briefly-described story of victimization is a whinefest that needs to be to torn apart, and there's no real need to scan for a reason to focus on the victims' mistakes to exclusivity.

It's fine to post a warning. But you are acting like every reply to this topic should be something like "Yup", "Okay", or "Thanks for the warning". It's the flameboard and the OP has like 5 sentences so obviously people are going to be curious as to what exactly happened. My first posts asked for more details about the situation and then when /blockaid came up I tried to make the point to everyone who was reading the topic that /blockaid will save them from being mpked at which point eor started getting hostile with me about it and demanding his topic be locked, which I personally consider as childish behavior.

My point for the entire topic has been that all end-game linkshells who are going to be competing for something HAVE to have /blockaid on. It's not optional, it's a requirement. If you don't, you're going to have people pull this crap on you. Yes, it's good to know shells that will be willing to do this, but at the same time as long as you insist that all of your members keep up /blockaid, you could be countercamped by 12 mpking linkshells and all they can do is watch you kill the hnm.

So in summary, if you post a weakass flame on the flameboard, people are going to ask for more details. Things are going to come up that you might not like or want to discuss, but being a whiny little bitch about it just weakens your position. It isn't trying to "pick the OP apart", it's trying to get the whole truth out there and help everyone understand both sides of the argument and more importantly how to protect themselves from the situation happening again in the future. For something that's so "obvious", why do so many shells always seem to have at least one person who forgets it? Maybe, just maybe, it isn't as obvious as you might think.

So Jamal and Rappa seem to have this under raps. You two are making me so hot right now.
