WMP Issues

[Sanoske]

Ok, so Im in the process of getting everything set on my new computer. It is running Vista, and of course, WMP 11.

On my old comp I had WMP 9(I didnt like 10's layout) and XP Pro. All the anime files I have played fine on my old comp, yet they will play audio only on my new comp. Ive tried downloading numerous codec packs and whatnot, and nothing had worked. Any ideas?

VLC player is your solution to almost everything <.< that shit can play anything...

What if I like my WMP? Huh? HUH?!

Yea. It makes me wonder that I can hear the audio, but dont get video. If I download DivX/codecs, will those carry over into WMP? I just like having one single media player for all my stuff, and my music is all played through WMP. It confuses me why it would play no problem on WMP9, but not v.11.

I would suggest uninstalling all codecs and then download the CCCP pack. That will have you playing everything.

VLC > ALL!!

Seriously Try VLC, you'll love it after you use it...

And yes, it does PLAY E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. without any downloading codec

For great justice!

"Combined Community Codec Pack" (CCCP) or the "Storm Codec" pack will usually set you up with what you need.
