Did that chocobo delivery quest. Bastok Mines -> Jeuno.
About 18 minute ride...reward? BASTOK MINES GLYPH!
Sorry, this just made my entire week. :roll:
 
Is that what you get for setting the record? I always end up 15-25 seconds away from the record on those races and get a page of Dragon's Chronicles (got my smn from 8 to 10 with those hehe).

Friends of mine did it and were over 1 min. from record, got gysgal greens {All right!}.
 
Can you do these more than once? And how do you start them?

I did the one for Bastok > Jueno... but haven't been able to do another one anywhere, since then.
 
You didn't make it to Jeuno fast enough. The major prize is an experience item (Dragon Chronicle or Mirtete Memoirs...)
 
Why is it whenever I get the quest from windy, they always want me to take it to Bastock? Its physcially impossible to take it from Windy to any of the other nations.

I don't know about the rewards. I think you get a dragon chronicles from going town-to-town, and a gate glyph by going to Jeuno as the top prize. I missed the Bastok->jeuno record by like 15 seconds and got a gate glyph.
 
I imagine a good time to do these are after a server reset.. is that when you about did it? D: oh ya.. what do those glyphs do?
