Hey all, I recently hit 40 with ze Ranger and now have the joy of buying stack upon stack of those damned unquiverable Scorpion Arrows. As I look around at the material costs, I've seen that the arrow prices are quite a bit inflated.

I'm wondering if there's a high level Woodworker out there that would be willing to synth me Scorpion Arrows if I provide them with all the necessary materials.

Please? I'll throw in cookies!

Do you really think they are inflated? I dont remember the cost, but I seem to remember that you only make a slight profit on these if you have no fails (a lot of people use these for skill-ups). Im thinking you may be thinking that 12 arrowheads make 12 stacks of arrows, it does not, it only makes 4 stacks if there are no fails or HQ's. The only way I think you'll save money this way is if you find a very high lvl woodworker who can HQ them. Im currently at 66 and would be willing to try sometime for you. Just give me a /tell :D

Nah, I'm in the know with the WW ways. I'm currently level 16 and cranking out bloody bolts like nobodies business. Heh, my mule was the sole supplier of them in Bastok for a full 3 days last week.

In my last perusal, Sunday night, a single stack of Scorp Arrows was running about 2200-2400 in Jeuno (1900-2100 outside of J), while Scorpion Arrowheads are running just over 2k a stack. Insect fletchings were right around 1500-2k a stack. And I farm all my crystals, so no $ loss there. Figuring these prices, that's 4 stacks of arrows for 4k. A considerable gain in my book.

Prices may have changed since Sunday, I'm not certain, but I specifically remember it being cheaper to craft than buy.

I can make a stack of Scorp's for like 700g (mind you I haven't checked price on Scorp materials since June/July) without HQ'ing at all. But I don't have the time to make personal requests for people unless Im getting something out of it, nor do I think any other woodworkers would.
