Man I got swept up in the hype. I wasn't planning on getting it but it is in the car. I won't get to play it tonight. I have some overtime to look forward too.
 
There is an issue with the PS3 version appearently on the 60 gig model i believe. Check around Neogaf. They have a whole thread explaining the issue and current attempts to stop it. Its something to do with freezing and data loss.
 
I have the 60 gig model and I have been playing it for a week now with no issues. Well, just one issue but it is user related. I keep trying to skip to the next island but it goes against the story so the cops chase me forever lol But besides that, no software issues at all.
 
Going to buy this game now. Might pick up a headset if I figure out which one to buy.

I have the 60 gig version and have had no problems with freezing or data loss. Maybe its ones that were released at a certain time.
 
<_< I just started playing. I took a care for a drive and found the subways. I went to the other Islands and boy, those cops sure don't give up. lol
 
this game is kick ass :D and I finally got my MGS Beta thing XD (no headset so meh) :P if you need to find my PSN just check that thread.
 
I have had issues with the 60 gig PS3 in my room, constant freezing. No issues at all with the 60 gig ps3 downstairs bought mainly for blu-ray/dvd playing. The game is pretty good though, not life changing or anything but good.
 
My has frozen a bit, but my system was REALLY hot (and needs some cleaning) sooo, I'll clean it lol, and figure out a better place to deal with the heat.

Edit: Weird working just fine now XD at least for my friend. I think it hates my account D:

How does one get Multiplayer to work? I try to get it through the phone but it keeps saying it can't connect to service provider. D: I want to kill some sluts with some qcdn peeps. ;~;
 
I have yet to have an issue on 360 and dont wish to have one.

I got the spec ed. It's nice, and far more worthwhile than most of them that have come out. Not sure if it's even worth the 30 dollar boost in price, but at least it's more than just a keychain.

The duffel bag is roughly half the size of a regular one, the lockbox is sturdy but not exactly tamper proof, the keychain is actually pretty well made, the soundtrack disk is utter shit in my opinion and the artbook is cool but overall kinda silly. So in the end if you need a small duffel bag and a good place to store your stash of m80s (currently my use for the box), it's worth it.

The only time I got "Can't connect to service provider" was when I forgot to log on to PSN before getting in game lol
