I've never liked GTA since after PSX version. I feel like I'm missing out on something great here. I just gotta know, will i regret purchasing this game ? This threat is getting me all excited.
 
The game mechanics are really well done. My only issue is that driving can sometimes be a bitch. Other then that the game is really fun. Wonder what Police station has the 4 foot pink dildo....

I would think if there were any GTA you did come to like, this would be it. The game is incredible for me atm. They have made a huge leap in GTA physics for one. The mechanics of the game have seriously been worked out also. It still does feel like GTA yet the gunplay is so much smoother. Visually the game is freaking stunning...
You must experience the choppers, once you get higher then the Empire State building you just cant help but appreciate what Rockstar has done. I am very impressed for a Sandbox game as large as this one.
And the online... My goodness... I jumped on with like 4-5 friends yesterday, Eleib and Makelith were 2 of them from this board. This is insanely fun. We had 100% of the city to free roam and wasted soooo much time taking choppers to the top of skyscrapers and just jumping to our deaths lol... May seem silly but that was some fun...
 
I played a little bit before bed. I stopped for the night, a.k.a. game crashed, after dropping my cousin back off at the taxi station after his gambling. I went across the street, to the go-kart area and found a gun. I started to practice how to shoot and the police got me. I probably shouldn't have started shooting while trapped behind fences i can't climb over. Once I restarted at the police station the game crashed and I went to bed.

I can't say that I am hooked yet, but I certainly plan on playing more.

That was pretty epic when Libara was chasing us in the copter and i dove out before the car exploded and caused all those other cars to explode too.

I have the 360 version and can't say for sure if this is true, but its kinda funny how they say some people say that it looks better on the ps3 version..

Honestly, when I watched the comparison trailer on gametrailer or whichever is the 1up video host, i do think the PS3 version looks better. Most multiplatform games look better on 360 but this isn't one of them, imo.
 
The only thing between the two that I have noticed is the lighting on the 360 version is a bit brighter, but you can change that, so no difference really. I'm not sure how the load times are between the two, but they seem negligible either way.

I can't speak for the PS3 version since I don't have it. The 360 version though says it plays in 720p,1080i, and 1080p
 
So who wants to die to me in Multiplayer?
 
anyone able to get into a full 16 player death match yet? I guess it's too early since most people are enjoying the great single player part of the game.
