God you guys have no idea what it's like here in Brazil during the world cup.

All you can see is a sea of Brazilian flags, all the streets are painted in yellow and green, everyone has their brazilian jerseys on, 90% of what's on TV's about the Brazilian team and what they're doing, if they're practicing, sleeping or eating. It's nuts!!!

But hey, it's the brazilian spirit, of having fun and a good time. During the world cup, we all have an excuse to go drinking 24/7, and i'll tell ya what, we love it!!!

originally i was planning on backpacking europe this summer with friends to catch some world cup games in germany. however, due to work schedule and him getting his phd schedule revamped, we have to settle for another year. anyways, go USA!
 
Gonna have to root for the home team...go USA! But whoever wins, it's always amazing to watch. Wish more people here in the US were into soccer tho... =/

Come on England. Only Brazil rated as bigger favourites than us. Looks like we will face Brazil in the semi final (if we get there). It's about time we won it again.

Okay, Germany beat Costa Rica 4-2... the Ecuador vs. Poland game is coming up (pwnage)

And by the way U.S fans... they're going to be eliminated in the first round for men's World Cup. The Czech Republic is their first opponent, whom is tied with Brazil pretty much. And everyone knows, Brazil owns all. (Germany almost had them last time, but still lost :O)
 
I Love how USA get Whoopped every year in world Cup. NOthing is more fun than making fun of em for the entire month for that outside of watching Brazil play. Last time was a FLUKE. The football gods took pity on USA and let em win a match or two. Honestly the untied states doesn't even call teh sport of the gods by it's proper name. (It's football for you Americans. Dont argue with the rest of the world on this cause youre getting pwned the second you fight us on the feild)


Edit:Almost forgot.. Any women who needs to be satisfied during the 4 weeks thier husband/boyfreinds are distracted can be satisfied by me provided there's a tv with the matches on that I can look at and they dont mind me shouting GOOOOOAAAALLLLLLLL! every once in a while:p

The catch phrase that pays!

I'll watch the world cup. Unlike American Football, Soccer is a real sport. Of course to all the football people I just offended... you try running nearly non stop, defending your goal with only 1 person able to use their hands, and on top of that, scoring for the intent to win.
 
Learn to speak english man:P It's football not soccer. What you call football is known as american football to the rest of the world.

U.S. Chance...

The U.S. is very unlikely to win even though it historically our best team ever. If we manage the second spot in our group we face the winner of Group F (most likely Brazil)... good luck. I used to teach in Brazil so I say "Go Brazil"!!!!

So Tricolor!!!
 
That was a dreadful performance by England. We need to buck our ideas up if we are to win the world cup.
