I wasn't really sure where to put this; RSI or the WoW forums. So if a mod thinks it's in the wrong place, I'll completely understand.

The owner of the restaurant said he, "created the diner in the hope that people who share his enthusiasm for the World of Warcraft would find a comfortable gathering place."

I don't usually think this hardcore stuff is cool but the way the place is set up is kind of neat. It doesn't seem too zealous or anything.

That said, you wouldn't catch me in one of those places.

"Hey drew, where are we going for dinner tonight?"

"We're going to the WORLD OF WARCRAFT."
 
Can you imagine if they tried to do this with FFXI?

Hmm... scantily clad cat-eared waitresses and a midget dressed up as a Tarutaru tending bar...

Actually, that sounds pretty freaking awesome.
 
I don't see how eating somewhere like this is any different than eating at hardrock, planet hollywood, or rainforest cafe type places. That being said, I don't like WoW so I wouldn't eat there :p
 
Everything that isn't on a wall looks like generic fantasy/medieval stuff totally unrelated to WarCraft.
 
Being that it's in China, does anyone else feel like the game footage might be RMT related?

this would be a horrible idea. all the fanboys would be there nonstop pretending they understand japanese ordering shit they dont even like just so they can be "azn jps kekeke www"
 
So if its WoW inspired, they'll probably have reported bugs stick around for years, no patrons above the mental age of 6, and instead of giving you what you pay for, they'll dump it on the floor, tell you it expired and that this NEW menu has much tastier fare. Yay!

wow fixes bugs within weeks unlike FFXI that fixes bugs in years. :) sorry girly youre wrong!
 
If it was a ffxi themed restaurant. You'll be sitting at a table. Then suddenly. People will also sit on your table and take the food you're trying to eat. When asked why they'll claim that this is the best table and food in the restaurant and theres enough for 2 PT's to share.

Or, FFXI would sell you a steak, and it wouldn't be properly cooked, and you'd send it back, and they'd fix it in a swift 2-4 years, mainly because of PS2 limitations.

The interior looks really neat, I don't play WoW but I think it looks pretty cool.
