So I'm sittin at work producing Game 2 of the World Series for the radio station here.. and I'm kinda bored so I was gonna see if anyone else is watching. Game 1 was won by the cardinals with some horrible young guy. I think the Tigers lost game 1 because they were rusty because they had a week off.. Anyway looks like the Tigers are gonna win here and tie the series at one game a piece. Anyone else watching? Who do you want to win...
I want the Tigers because I simply don't like the Cardinals lol. They beat my damn Houston Astros. damn them!

Anyway yea. Go Tigggggggeeeeerrrrrrrssssssssssss.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!

I just realized the World Series was even going on.

Even though the Cardinals have always been one of my personal favorites, I want the tigers for this, having been such a terrible team for so long before.

I'm rooting for the Tigers personally. I've never been a big fan of the players on the Card's team (save for Jim Edmonds) so I'll root for the scrapy, beat the snot-out-of-you team.

Its defonetly going to come down to the better pitching. Verlander had the crap scared out of him in the first game, but personally I think he'll come back and be fine in game 5. Reyes for the Cards is an up and coming star so he'll go well against Verlander in the return trip. Kenny Rogers will pitch consistantly for the rest of the series as will the rest of the Tigers staff. If Chris Carpenter doesn't win for the Cards Tuesday though, this series is done. Jeff Suppan can pitch a perfect game for them in Game 4 and they still won't win the series if Carpenter can't help him out.

I'll take Tigers in 6. And Craig Monroe as the series MVP.

Being a Michigan resident I'm going to cheer for the Tigers. That and how can't you not love an underdog? 3 years ago they lost an all time record 119 games while winning only 30. 3 years later and with almost the exact same team they are tied in the World Series against a team that has been there several times in recent history (though have not won...). Go Tigers!

Long time Pirates fan. Gotta cheer for Jimmy Leyland, plus Andy Van-Slyke and Don Slaught on the coaching staff. Much love

I went this weekend. I had my fingertips on the homerun that Monroe hit in the 9th in game #1 (Got to see myself on TV :P). Definitely an AWESOME experience.

Where is my Sunday Night Football!? Damn World Series. Marlins 4tw anyway.

Series tied 1-1... for those who saw the game... what do yall think about the foreign substance that was on roger's hand? I mean, he got rid of it after the first inning, then still pitched good. He claimed it was a mixture of things including dirt, sweat, moisture, and rosen. But they showed his hand from the ALCS and he had the same stuff on it. As much as I want him to do good. I think I have to call BS about what he claimed was dirt on his hand.

Oh well, he got rid of it and still pitched great. Go tigers!

p.s. poo-holes is in fact a.. poo hole

who do the tigers think they are??? the white sox??? i dont think so.....

i hope the cards win (even though im a cubs fan too)

Yeah personally, I think it was pine tar or something like that. Most pitchers use something of that nature on their hands during colder nights. Its against the rules technically, but its another one of those weird rules in MLB thats never inforced. Similar to the pine tar + bats rule (Minus the George Brett incident.) and the getting close to second base (without really touching it) double play ball.

I've met good ol' Pujols and while he's probably going to be the greatest player we've ever seen when its all said and done....he's pretty much a dick.

poo holes just always plays with an arrogance that just annoys me. alot of players do this. they hit a homerun, then stare at it like they are God's gift to baseball. i mean sure admire your homerun, but do it the right way... byhitting the ball and simply running the bases...

oh btw, did you happen to see what he said of Tom Glavine in the NLCS.

he wouldnt even give him credit for a good game pitched. he simply would just say how the cards didnt play good. how lame..

anyway, yea im still rooting for the tigers. Cardinals could be the worst World Series Champs ever.. .. .. >.<
