Funny you should say that, since I came back to the game, my wife now plays. She is currently playing a Mithra WAR/MNK just dinged 24 last night in Qufim Island.

I havent heard her say a single thing about Skillchaining, even though I have given her a rough explanation of what they are. I may have to teach her this week as we gather her Kazham Keys.

That's pretty nifty. I too remember the days when you needed a party setup with a functional skillchain, and a BLM, or it sucked... Oh well, maybe SE will rebalance the game, you know, again, and make skillchains worthwhile once more. Maybe then BLMs won't have to play like SMN. You know, possessing DD capabilities, but you're unable to use them because they're "not good enough damage".

I still hold tight onto skillchains. My friend Joemanor and I are leveling my PLD and his RNG together. We always try to find atleast 2 BLM to burst for a mandated skillchain. It only makes sense, mobs die faster with the extra free damage. We were running a Chain 6 in the 40's with a RNG, PLD, BLM, BLM, BLM, RDM set up... I wish I could find that set up everytime we form. Nothin quite like a little xp pt doing 4 MB's each mob.
