Meh I can say I'm probably an addict.

I don't talk with my sister, I rarely eat with my family, and on the off occaision I've told my friends I don't wanna go out to make events such as gods....

C'est le vie!
 
I go to my friend Kris's house often and play FFXI there.

Even Saturdays when I have Dynamis.
 
I know it's primarily due to a scheduling thing, but I'd have to say anyone who attends PerfectAtaraxia (PimpsAtaraxia?) or any Friday/Saturday night Dynamis runs is pretty much hooked.

I'm no better honestly. Even on the rare occasions that I do go out on Friday/Saturday nights, the whole time I'm out with my non-FFXI friends I'm thinking, "man I bet nobody's camping that NM I need...".
 
When I played i would spend my entire fall or spring break grinding xp... almost literally 24 hours a day for 9 days (2+5+2) straight. Thats when I knew I was addicted, so ive quit cold turkey and it HURTSSSS

A bunch of sensationalist swill really. The word "Journalism" to these people is completely foreign. I'm surprised that the kid isn't some thirty year old actor in costume.

For a second there i thought maybe just paybe i play too much FFXI. Then i heard them mentioning the whole chucking crap through walls and a (supposed) genius killing himself to be with the WoW legends and realized i'm perfectly normal.
