Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

God the WWE is getting bad with their writing. Vickie cheating on Edge (Edge cheated on Vickie). HHH breaking into Orton's "home". This is terrible.

I also hate the WWE Facts especially about episode information on how Smackdown and RAW are the longest running programs on air. RAW and Smackdown air every week with new episodes while most shows have 18 episode seasons.

Just for the record. HHH breaking into Orton's house was a great idea!
 
Just wish they stop spending 15 min replaying it every week. Rather use that time for matches.
 
Orton = Awesome. Last raw kinda sucked but the Orton/HHH and HBK/Taker build ups were awesome.
 
The more matches they add to WM25, the less excited I become.
 
Wrestlemania 25 in 6 days!
I was planning on going to Billy Joe's Pitcher Show to watch it since it's only a $10 cover, but that recently closed so probably going to order the PPV at home, $54.95 gogo! But WM will be worth it.

I'm hoping it's not as bad as it sounds like it's going to be. ;x I hate to be one of those guys but I've seen Orton v HHH, seen Edge v. Cena (so what if show is in it? O_o?) Hardy v. Hardy has the potential to be good, MITB...shit I have no idea what to think about that. The 25 diva thing has potential. Taker v. Shawn just makes me blah because I hate Michaels. lol I dunno, guess we'll see!

That would still freak me out if I had a daughter and I was going to watch her pole dance. :S

In other interesting news...apparently this most recent smackdown was Tazz's last one! I never really did like him as a commentator so I don't see this as a horrible thing. lol
 
Yeah he did ok. He wasn't my favorite but I didn't hate him either. I remember he was pretty bad when he very first started commentating but he definitely improved over the years. I didn't know Tazz was stepping down though. Thats interesting to know.

orton/HHH is not going to end at WM25 match being advertised for raw in england 2 weeks after mania is orton/HHH title match in a stell cage ... cant wait thats going to be so... mind numbingly dull the only way it could get worse is if you get jericho to talk over it

Orton and Y2J are the two best heels in the company right now imo.
 
Yeah I haven't been keeping up with it like I used to but from what I'm seeing they are the best heels atm imo as well. Jericho always did make a good heel though but Orton isn't bad himself. I'm just happy to finally see some different heels rather than HHH always being the top heel. Its a nice change of pace. This is the longest I've seen HHH stay face since the old DX days. He usually backstabs someone by now lol.

HHH can't because hes gotten to a point where the worse things he does the more he gets cheered by people <_< He wants to be heel but hes stuck face because of the crowd
 
Ah that makes sense. Thats what happened to Austin back when he first blew up. They wanted him heel but people kept cheering for him so they turned Bret heel and turned Austin good.
 
Wrestlemania 26 at Arizona next year, interesting.

MitB: Decent, lot of botches though, wasn't too fond of CM Punk winning for 2 years in a row.

Kid Rock concert: No.

Diva Battle Royal: Santino/a in drag was just wrong and yet so hilarious, and he won lol.

IC Match: Yeah, what a waste, good thing it only lasted 26 seconds, and JBL will be back as Smackdown announcer.

Legends vs Jericho match: Not bad, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat looked to be in great shape for his age, lame end though with Mickey Rourke "KOing" Y2J.

Hardy vs Hardy: Enjoyed this match, and the Twist of Fate inside the chair on Jeff looked painful, plus Jeff missing a leg drop and falling on his ass from the top of the ladder, that had to hurt. Also the bruise Matt had on his right arm that you could see at the end of the match.

Undertaker/HBK: Outstanding, match of the night, you knew the outcome at the start but they still sold it well.
And ouch at the landing Taker did outside of the ring on the cameraman.

Triple Threat: Enjoyable, was hoping Big Show would win, but Cena wins (again), wonder if he'll have another year long streak again. Nice 2 x AA at the end from Cena though.

HHH vs Orton: Okay match, not good/decent, you knew who was going to win anyways. Had a great buildup over the past weeks(months), but this match disappointed. Doubt this feud is over though.

Anyways, lame start to WM25, but picked up somewhat with the Legends match, Hardy's match, but took off full throttle with HBK and Undertaker, which stole the show.
Overall I'd give it a 7-7.5/10.
Let's see how WM26 is next year.

I stole WM25 and I feel robbed.

That was bad besides the Taker/HBK match. I missed the MITB + Hardys match though. Might watch it as they replay it.
 
Horrible mania could been much better.
They didn't show the tag team match been looking forward to them unifying the titles for long time and they didn't even show it.
Way throw more sand on ecw championship not even a appearance.
The diva match had be the biggest joke. Was disgrace to women wrestling did not even give them a proper intro or commentary.
I hope that end of JBL because if it anything else that was horrible match but if it truly is last time we see JBL I can see it being necessary.

taker/hbk five star match and match of the night
jericho match decent
WHC predictible
WWE predictable

I give it 6.5/10
