Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

I was kinda hoping they would get Kennedy in the Royal Rumble and let him get it since he was screwed from his MITB stuff. ;( I so could see him headlining WM24.
 
Big Show is down to 440 lbs after leaving pro wrestling to rest, and pursue a possible career in boxing, which obviously included boxing training that got him in quite a good shape. Dave Meltzer also mentions in the Observer that a part of his boxing deal was that Hulk Hogan was to be his "front man" acting like a manager in wrestling for him by doing promos and appearances. This was also the main reason many boxing promoters were actually interested in Big Show and paying him so much money to learn the sport. These plans, however, fell apart at some point, and Show realized that at his age, boxing might not be the right direction to go anyway. There have also been no recent updates or even talks of Hogan doing his own wrestling tour - a very discussed topic of the past. Hence with nothing on the horizon, Big Show is back with WWE.

The details seem iffy. But the site usually gets things right. They got the maria playboy thing before anything was announced, they get tons of others too.

So we may get to see Big Show in WWE again after all :D
 
That would be amazingly cool. That dude is hilarious, if they let him come back as a face and do his comedy bits it'd be cool. If they make him a big boring brute again then no one will care.
 
WWE has far too many lame monsters already. Big Show needs to come back as face.
 
Probably going to go to ECW again. Part of me thinks it will be as a heel again. Frankly, I don't care too much for the big show at all. I've been rather happy that he was gone. ;(
 
I doubt they're gonna send him to ECW again. Hes obviously gonna get a push once hes back and ECW isnt really where you send people for a push ;<

Ok, I know it's fake and Hardy landed in what is effectively a giant cardboard box filled with styrofoam and Randy Orton, but holy shit. That was every bit of 15 feet.

Seriously. When they first put Jeff Hardy in the main event scene, I didn't think he was quite there yet. But daaamn, thats 2 weeks in a row hes left me excited.

Hes a great performer, he didn't get the push before because of his drug problems. Good thing he went to TNA and there he showed everyone he's got what it takes to run with the big dogs. McMahon showed hes smart as we know he is by signing him back to WWE. Now it's all up to Jeff.

Eh...huh? Didn't he like noshow TNA quite a few times because of his drug problem? O_o;
 
Its too bad Matt Hardy got the same push. they could've done something great with him and Edge espically with Edge becoming a main eventer himself. Story never went anywhere and they just buried him. Its good seeing Jeff getting a singles push though. Espically with the tag team division being so weak nowadays. If Jeff remains in the tag team scene he would just be held back. A lot of people like Jeff so its smart on Vince's part giving Jeff "the ball" as they say.
 
On a different topic...I'm kinda happy that Ashley is back. I love that song for some reason. xD

I wasn't surprised at the outcome. I was hoping they'd make him face Flair again, for the whole HHH rumble, or Flair keeps his job thing. Instead they parade the usual giants and then Regal douches the match up by throwing himself in.

Also, Maria is so hot in HD.
