Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

ECW was crazy back in the day. I saw a video once of spike dudley sliding a cheese grate across Bubba Ray's skull and you can see his head just split wide open. Plus some of the wrestlers(like the Dudley boys and Shane Douglas) were hated so badly that there would be riots in the arena. But yeah I have RVD and Mick Foley's DVD and there are some good matches on there from the old ECW. Used to have the rise and fall of ECW but I can't find it. Thats a must buy for those interested in the old brand. But what they show now is just watered down. Its almost like watching heat and velocity from back in the day. Don't know why they can't make it as good as the one night stand ppvs. Those were pretty good and had that good old ECW feel to it. Sabu vs Mystero was awsome even though it ended crappy. Jerry Lawler used to say it best though, "ECW stands for Extreme Crappy Wrestling." Cause now thats what it is.

Speaking of meeting people. I saw HHH and Steph at our local gym once. He supposedly from around boston(don't quote me on that) so he was using this gym around here xD
 
w00t, the pics thread!

Okay, so first we got to meet a very sedated Kurt Angle...I was kinda upset since he looked like he was still addicted to pain medication. ; ; But still, it was cool. And I look like hell in these pics but screw that, I worked for 7 hours before I went to this. ;p So here's Mr. angle. :o And yeah, every picture has the United States Champion...that's cause I'm a loser and purchased one. =)

Then of course, Tahlia was there. She's cute, but not my type. Romeo however is nicely built. <.<;

The main event tonight was Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage. I hate Joe, so I only got my pic taken with Cage, he was an awesome guy!

And the jizzer of the night...Romeo was in a tag team with a mystery partner. I figured...okay, it was probably Angle since he wasn't on the card at all. (Ends up he didn't wrestle at all) Anywho! I'm just waiting to hear his music when I hear MNMs music. O_o; That was orgasm #1. They finished the match with the snapshot, that was orgasm #2. At the end, he signed autographs and I got my pic with him! :O! That was just the climax point and I squirted everywhere. He's so hot! >.>;

Oh wow, had no clue Mercury switched to TNA. Those are some cool pics though.

Kurt Angle probably is doped up on pain killers. He never fully recovered from his injuries fully like he was supposed too. I thought about purchasing those replica belts myselft but their too expensive for me right now. So your not the only loser lol. I guess kurt won't get in trouble for holding a product from WWE.

Christian does seem like a pretty cool guy out of character from what I could tell in his interviews like when he first left WWE. Looks like you were having a good time lol.

One wrestler I would like to meet or at least see is Big Show. A friend of mine was at an autograph session and saw him at a pay phone. She said the size of him was amazing when seeing him im real life. On T.V you don't really think much of it. I would love to see just how big he really is.

Mercury isn't on TNA, the show I went to was a NEW production. www.northeastwrestling.com They do shows for charity, and TNA & WWE let some stars go there to perform. Christian was awesome, I did get him to laugh and that made me happy. lol And as for the Big show...I've heard he's a huge prick in real life. =( I'd like to meet him as well to see if this rumor is true.
 
ooohh I see. Im gonna have to look more into northeast when I have time. Thats awsome though. And I dunno if big show really is a prick. He seems like he has an interesting since of humor. He's always cracking jokes. But then again thats only on camera. Hard to say off camera.

How many wresters did you meet over there? Seems like there were quite a bit.

Let's see...Meet & Greet was with Kurt Angle, Romeo, Tahlia, Big Daddy (NEW Manager), Kurt Adonis (NEW Wrestler), Anthony something (NEW Wrestler), Jay Lethal, Samoa Joe, and Christian Cage. I blew off Joe and Jay, not a big fan of the two.

Haha nice. I don't mind Joe to much. He's the next "bam bam begalow" as far as being a very agile big man. That man can move for something his weight class. I hope I can go to a live show sometime soon. I've only been to one and that was starcade of 97', hogan vs sting. That was a blast even though we had nose bleed seats lol. I think I saw van hammer in the metro station once in DC, but my friends and I chickened out on going up to him. We were young kids at the time anyway. I wouldn't mind meeting taker though. He's been my favorite wrestler since I was little.

Don't think Taker will be at a meet & greet at all...dear god do you know how much his autograph is anyways? :( He's still awesome though.

Btw, Randy Orton was sent home from the European Tour. The cause is that he was found passed out in his hotel room with the whole room thrashed up. Damages were about $30,000. His future with the WWE remains uncertain but he seems to be in deep...poo :P

Whoa whoa whoa...why is the main event starting about 1 hr before the end of the show? O_O


PS. I like how they showed a promo for Edge vs Orton even though Orton wasn't on the continent during the show.
 
Probably cause the main event will run an hour or so, because the Edge/Orton match didn't happen because Orton got sent packing(And Orton may not even be in the 4 way at Backlash, god Orton, what the fuck?), so they may have decided just to extend the main event. That or Raw ends early tonight.. I hate pretaped shows heh.

Edit: Read on WWE.com that the Cena/HBK match was too long so they couldn't have the Edge/Orton match, heh nice cover-up.

best match ever was the barbed wire match of old school ecw you can see it on one of the ecw videos wwe put out. the face grater has nothing on that match.
 
Cena vs HBK tonight was A LOT better than WM23 one imo, and a lot longer too.
Can't wait for their Fatal Four way(not likely cause Orton fucked up) or the Triple Threat(unless they remove Edge too) for the title at Backlash.

Definitely an interesting match. I do wonder what Backlash will be like now. Orton may still be in it though...let's not count him out until we really hear!
