Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

Heh, Edge vs Batista for title at Judgment Day.. I may just have to go see that now.

- Vince McMahon mentioned that they are working on a special event which will be titled "Night of Champions" where every match will have a WWE Championship on the line.

That should be interesting ;O

Btw, WWE.com is listing Edge vs batista for judgment day

- A few of the names that were considered for a championship title run when The Undertaker went down with his injury were Edge, Randy Orton, and Mr. Kennedy. Kane was also considered but due to his bad knee, he wasn’t a top candidate.

Guess that answers my question earlier -.-

rofl...did anyone hear Khali talking? All I could think of was Steve Carroll (?) in Bruce Almighty at the news desk. blahbalhblahblahblahblahlabhflbajlffakl! xD

I understood some of it :P

But I couldnt catch it all since he wasn't speaking clearly...

What happened tonight? I couldn't watch it.

HBK oWned Edge! Plus he did his entire repertoire uninterrupted, flying forehand>jump up from lying on the floor>flying elbow>boot charging (up to 7!!!!!)>Sweet Chin Music>1-2-3 D=

But then Orton oWned him after the match. Yay? I like them both It's hard for me to choose on this one... ; ;

Kind of makes smackdown look weak. Their champ just goes out there and loses cleanly. Buuut look how edge won it. Not exactly the toughest way to be champ. Plus he lost to shawn which is an exception.

Did anythign happen after Cena came out in the begining and started complaining about Khali? I had to leave, and I only saw the first few minutes of raw.

Khali started mumbling in the back to Cena, Jeff Hardy v. Murdoch (Murdoch wins) Candice Michelle v. Victoria (CM wins) Lashley vs Coach and other people, but I didn't watch that match cause I hate bobby lashley. And then the main event of Edge v. HBK, but people commented on what happened there. =p

Thanks^^

So there was no Cena/kahli closure? Lame.

Actually, didn't Hardy beat Murdoch with a quick roll-up?

Hahaha, I so called it last night. I was talking to Quina and I said something about how WWE wasn't following their whole thing about showing the divas as less slutty. Since Candice looked smoking last night and revealed a lot. Then I saw this news today:

Remember the new WWE Diva policy that we reported on last week? It appears as if the plans to institute the new doctrine have already been scrapped.

While the company wanted to present the divas in a classier manner to gain more mainstream sponsorship, Kevin Dunn barked at Vince McMahon that the plan would never work and would destroy the upcoming Diva Search competition. Since the Diva Search is considered McMahon’s baby amongst his love for the divas, it appears as if we are not going to see the taming of the divas.

On other interesting news, SABU FIRED!

Several sources are saying that former ECW World champion Sabu has been released from WWE.

Sabu arrived several hours later to tonight's scheduled Smackdown/ECW taping in Baltimore, Maryland. He didn't even bring his ring gear with for some reason. He was sent home from the taping and has been/will be released by the company.

WWE hasn't issued a statement yet.

WWE.com has confirmed it at this point.

And for the Y2J fans, some good news:

Chris Jericho to return by the fall, in time for the three hour season premiere of RAW in October. With the recent string of injuries, Randy Orton's uncertainties, Rob Van Dam's future up in the air, and other factors, WWE feels they are in need of some serious star power and now want to make a major push to have Chris Jericho available for a WWE return in time for SummerSlam.

I'd kill to see Jericho back, I always enjoyed his matches and his mic skills, hopefully he does make a comeback.

I'd also kill for The Rock to come back too, but alas, damn him and his movies >>

Yeah no kidding. Rock said something about having no interest in coming back so its doubtful we'll see him anytime time soon if at all.

Yeah, he'll never be back. He'll always be able to get action-movie roles, and he'll never stop doing it.

Sucks though, he was my favorite to watch.

Yeah. I espically loved him when he turned heel again against goldberg and austin. Those concerts he did when he made fun of them and the backstage segments such as a promo he did on the hurricane were hilorious. I've always wanted to see him and Cena have a cut down battle during Cena's rap days. Ah well, life goes on.

uhh...

The reason why WWE has been airing Snitsky promos on RAW is because there are tentative plans for him to challenge John Cena for the WWE Heavyweight Championship at some point. One source said that it is almost as if WWE is making John Cena the new age Hulk Hogan, accepting several monster challenges.

More retarded feuds imo. -.-

Btw, it also says HHH is supposed to return by late July :D
