Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

Falls count anywhere = your opponent can pin u in the bathroom, stairs, lockers, etc.

Street Fight = anything goes (cliche: everyone fights in jeans and the ring is filled with dumpsters, 4x4s and more stuff to hit your opponent with). But the pin has to be inside the ring anyway.
 
Did you guys see Candace Michelle fight yesterday? So much for making the divas less slutty. Her bazooms were all over the place.

Not that I'm complaining.

I'll be honest, I don't see much else that appeals in the women's division now anyways with people like Trish and Lita gone. Not that those two weren't hot too, but they were much better wrestlers than some divas I see now :P
 
Yeah, they had better story lines and they are better in ring performers. Women are to "pretty" nowadays. We don't see women like jacqline(sp), Jazz, Alundra Blaze, Bertha Fae, and Moolya(sp) back in her prime anymore. And from some interviews I've heard, there are some really vicious women in independant wrestling. Thats the type of women's wrestling I wanna see.

Its all about looks now. Its like they don't care as much for in ring ablility. This is wrestling, not a modeling competition. Theres other places for that.
 
Jackie and Gail Kim have some pretty rough fights on TNA
 
She wasn't really a wrestler either. Wasn't suppose to be. She was only a manager. Moolah was pretty good back in the 80s.

I've only seen the 80s through VHS and DVD releases. Moolah was in wrestlemania..I think 2. She was pretty decent in that match. I've only been watching wrestling live on TV since 1993.

Shame you missed the monday night wars. Least the prime of it. Best days of wrestling in my opinion. Both WCW and WWF were fun to watch as they competed on monday nights. They even took jabs at each other which made it more interesting. I miss them days. DX, nWo, Austin/Vince feud, corporate/corporate ministry, reunited hart foundation. Good stuff.

The only thing with WCW I saw was the "takeover" thing. Supposedly that was one of the best WWE stories ever, so atleast I got to see that.

Anyways, Batista will most likely feud with Edge til Kennedy gets back, then it'll be Edge vs Kennedy and Kennedy will hopefully win the title.
