Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

I knew they would do this "Who did it?" angle. :-D
For now people are trying to pin it on a wrestler.
What if its not a wrestler?

What if its... Eric Bischoff? Just a thought. :-)

The Stephanie crying act, I saw that coming.
It was pretty entertaining. :-D lol

Anyone remember that time Stephanie tried to sing to Austin, and the words to the song were on the screen with a little Steve Austin boggly head jumping on the words. :-D lol memories; its also when Steve started to do his catchy "WHAT?!" phrase.

I'm guessing that Vince killed himself. Ever since he lost the ECW title he said he was bothered by this "dark cloud" inside of him. He was basically losing his mind and started making all kinds of wild matches. He seemed like he was depressed. On top of that, hardly nobody had anything nice to say to him on his apprication night which probably added to his depression. When he came out to the ring he was lost for words, looked like he was about to break down, basically losing it. He even zoned out, hince is why he almost went down the wrong hall when he was on his way to the limo before coach stopped him. He wasn't on at all during the whole show except for the end. He could've tested everyone's response during his apprication night and when he saw the negative responses, he lost it and set up the bomb himself. When he came out of the building at the end of the show, he kept stopping and looking, as if he was leaving the building for the final time and he just wanted to soak it all in before his final goodbye. Then he got in the limo and paused, probably making some final thoughts before he decided he was going to go through with it. Then BOOM!!

This is also a good way to trick us fans. See Vince and the writers know that if they go with this story line, all the fans were gonna start playing guessing games as to who did it. Thats what they want. Then they're gonna pull the ol "ah hah gotcha" card and reveil that it wasn't a wrestler that did it, it was Vince himself, something that no one would of ever thought of, tricking everybody. This is just my guess though.

I vegly remember the head bobbing thing when stephanie sang to Austin. I don't remember how the song went. That was the same event when Kurt Angle sprayed them all with milk right?

I do remember the early days when Austin would use "what". Used to annoy me at first cause he always did it in the middle of trash talking someone like he was mocking them but I felt he over used it to much in one or two sentences and it just started to bug me. Once it started kicking off I kind of adjusted to it. Course now Austin doesn't use "what" the same way he did when he started it. He lets the fans do it as he's making some long list of his alcoholic experience or he'll say it towards the end of his promo as a final statement type thing.

You guys think he's going to be "dead" forever? Is that the last we'll ever see of Vince McMahon? Was that his glorious decent into retirement?

Honestly, that would make me a little sad.

I gotta agree.
It did look like he committed suicide.
Vince seemed extremely depressed toward the end of last week's RAW.
Hopefully Vince will be back considering they never found his body.

Yep, thats when Kurt was actually not a heel, and sprayed milk. :-D

O no, Vince will surely be back. The question is when.

Already they are talking about dropping the death angle if ratings dont improve this week.

They need to change the title holder already if the want their ratings to soar again. XD

Yeah, I think that would help a lot more than ending this death mystery. They could really turn this into something entertaining if they stick with it and do it right.

Yes, wrestling needs an other BIG entertainer and Cena is not it. Cena might be a good wrestler but he doen't entertain as much as Hogan or Rock, even Austin (as much as I hate to admit it). He's in the lines of Warrior or Bret Heart and Heart had way more charisma than Cena.

I strongly think Randy Orton could be that next big thing.

Orton doesn't really do it for me. He just seems kinda "Me big strongman, me kill legends."

But I agree with your point, we need someone really, really entertaining.

WWE definitely needs to push one of the newer superstars to get the ball moving. Randy Orton would be a good candidate.

They'll need to put him in the ring with someone that will give him that great leverage.

It would be nice if he wins the belt, holds onto it for a while, and perhaps someone who wants the belt badly returns back to the WWE. Maybe that somebody could be Triple H? :-)

I wouldn't mind seeing a feud between Triple H and Randy Orton.
A similar instance occurred in the past when Evolution broke up, but be honest Orton wasn't all that popular. Everyone wanted for Triple H to smash this guy apart, or they just didn't really care.

Orton was only known as Cowboy Orton's kid; nothing more, and nothing less. Now Randy Orton has become pretty popular amongst the fans as the Legend Killer, and has quite an ego to entertain with.

Perhaps its just me, but it might be interesting to see Triple H, and Orton go at it for the belt.

The question is, who will be the middle man to give him that leverage?
Orton needs a really good fight; and not with Cena.

Totally unrelated..
I think they ought to push Snitsky up now that he looks like Kane's cousin. lol
We haven't seen big guys storm the ring in a dominating way since Batista and Brock Lesnar at their early stages.

I think they are starting to push him up. Did you see the "Snitsky" commercial during Raw last night?

If they're gonna push a big guy, it needs to be Kane. Snitsky sucks!!! Khali sucks. Henry sucks. K thx.

As for Randy orton, right now they do have a feud with HHH planned for him. I just hope he wins the championship this sunday and they fight for the title.

As much as I love Orton he doesn't stand a chance against HHH in evilness (and spitting water lolRVD). If this feud goes on it will cement him as an evil badass forever. HHH is a hard man to put down.

I remember when edge became champ for the first time, how the ratings starting shooting up. If they just get a new title holder, that should help with the bad ratings.

There had been talk for some time of moving Snitsky from ECW to Raw, so this move was no surprise. They wanted to move him to the bigger show because you can only get over on ECW to a certain degree, and they thought the time was now to make the move. Some people think that because of his size and mean look, he can be like Kane when he was a heel. For the time being, they plan on using him similarly to how he was used in ECW. They're going to have him squash undercard wrestlers for a while. It'll be similar to what they did with Umaga last year before he moved on to a big feud with John Cena. In early 2008, the plan is for Snitsky to work a title program with Cena.

WHAT WHAT WHAT?? Cena doesnt need to be champion till early 2008!!!! And seriously, after Umaga and Khali what is Snitsky really? We get it, Cena "slayed" a couple of giants. Snitksys a pushover. Quit the crap!!

Torrie Wilson was moved to SmackDown because Ashley Massaro is going to be away until the end of the year to be a contestant for Survivor on CBS, and they needed a new babyface diva. There was some thought given to moving Maria, but ultimately, they wanted to replace a blonde with another blonde.

That makes sense...Hopefully Torrie will be involved in some diva storyline again >.>

They don't say which title, maybe it'll be a different one? There's no way it'll still be Cena for the rest of the year.

I'm not too sure about that. WWE is obsessed with Cena. They're trying to make him Hulk Hogan 2.0

Does that mean when Triple H comes back he's going to keep losing to Cena?

Everybody is losing to Cena it seems anymore. They push and push these big guys like they're unstoppable and invincible and Cena just beats them like any other wrestler. I wouldn't be suprised to see Cena go over Triple H as his ultimate accomplishment or push. I would like to believe that Triple H will beat him but I'm kind of having my doubts. Guess we'll see what goes.
