Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

Promoting the DVD release of 300, which comes out the end of this month, they did a similiar thing with Nacho Libre.
 
Oh wow. I didn't catch them doing that for nacho libre. Course I haven't browsed through that site in awhile. Only the links that people post here.

Basically in the same boat as you. I did agree with the things he said as well.

But he does sound like hes a 12 yr old at some points haha. Oh well, he gets paid to use his muscles, not his brains >.>
 
You guys remember when HHH suddently started going to the ring dressed as a gladiator? I thought he was trying to be casted as Conan in the new movie.

ps - Missed the Kennedy rant, read it now and now I'm a fan. He talked great.

You guys have to realize, he's not as "leet" as we are! But he really did have some fantastic points. It would be nice to hear from current wrestlers in this business regarding say...benefits, etc. Not to disrespect those who paid their dues, but things change real quick.

Yeah, hence the reason I was watching an old ECW pay per view...ahh the good old days.
 
I've been watch old ECW PPV also man those where the good old days where they more or less allowed anything goes. Also i've been watching old WWF videos i have on VCHS tapes like the Rock on man i do miss him.

I haven't watched wrestling here lately so anything good going on?

Yeah I haven't been watching much myself. I watched a raw a little but wasn't nothing too special. Shoot I barely remember what happened on that show. Mostly cause I was doing something else while watching it.

Scott Hall made his return to the ring on Friday. He had a dream match against Carlito in a World Wrestling Council show down in Puerto Rico.

Carlito defeated Scott Hall

This was a much hyped match. For years, people have been saying that Carlito has taken quite a bit of the Razor Ramon gimmick for his own gimmick. Scott Hall surprised quite a bit of people by being in better shape than expected. He still needs to work out a bit more, but he's making strides. Apollo, who was at ringside, interfered to help Carlito win the match.

Yep Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) made his in ring return. Wonder if he's doing special shows only or if he's going to make a comeback to either WWE or TNA. I haven't been keeping up with TNA much but if Kevin Nash is still there I wouldn't mind seeing "The Kings of Wrestling" return. Could be hard though with Jerret being pushed as a midcard babyface. Those guys were hilarious though. Even the outsiders returning would be great to see. Having them against VKM and the Dudleys would be cool to see. Guess we'll see what goes.

Yep the one and only lol. He followed Rowdy Piper's fate lol. He was well in shape and toned back in the 80s and he too now has a nasty gut. Scott Hall always had alcohol problems so I'm not too suprised.
 
That was cruel.

Raw started with HHH's music and I thought he was gonna make an appearence. It was only silly King Booker claiming to be the only king on Raw...Guess they're gonna have him mess around with Jerry lawler till HHH returns.

The match was not all that, but that was a well executed Orton vs Dusty Rhodes fight (maybe The Great American Bash?). Everyone being interviewed is favoring Cena and I dont like that...

OMG who is that blonde girl hanging out with Melina???? Looks like Lita...

Forget that: LMAO, the Hacksaw Jim Dugan > Stephen Regal > Ron Simmons skit made the night for me!
