No Jeff Hardy vs Umaga rematch at summerslam..

According to Dave Scherer, the statement Jeff Hardy made on his website is not true. Jeff stated that he was given time off to heal from neck and back injuries after a fall last week on RAW. Several sources within the WWE say Jeff has been suspended for his lack of maturity.

When the story originally broke out, there were several conflicting reports of him either no showing or being sent home from TV. All of those reports appear to be false.

Jeff has not been released from the company but isn’t expected to be back for at least 30 days. He will obviously miss this year’s Summerslam PPV.

Yeah the USA network is pushing Vince to come because they've been getting low ratings. They got a 2.4 or 2.6 I believe which is the lowest rating on a non-holiday night they had since like 2001 I think. Now they're trying to bring Vince back to help boost those ratings since they were fairly high the last time he was around. USA has also been pushing WWE to bring back stars like Austin and Jericho to push ratings too. Don't know if it'll happen but it seems like USA is getting real strict with getting their ratings up lately.

Nielsen Media Research has contacted various programmers due to a glitch in Monday Nights Ratings. This could be an explanation into the drastic drop that Raw received this week.

And funny news about Khali vs batista

They're doing a deal at house shows where Batista vs. Khali matches end via DQ when Finlay interferes, setting up Batista & Kane vs. Khali & Finlay which ends with Batista pinning Finlay). The reason for the tag matches is that apparently the Batista vs. Khali singles matches are so bad that they can't even have them do extended singles matches on houseshows, yet they expect them to do an extended singles match at SummerSlam.

Why, oh, why is Khali the champ if his matches suck? And same for batista, why has he had like the last 10 championship matches...

A glitch in the ratings huh. I didn't hear about that part lol. You know wrestling is getting sad when the two time champ and the current champ can't even put on a decent match. Thats so funny though. Kane and Finely have been around a lot longer. Why don't we see them go at it with Kane or Finely being champ? Would be a lot better and would make a lot more sense considering the experience they have in their wrestling career.

It wasn't a glitch in the ratings. It was a glitch in the program itself, wherein a very large number of viewers saw giant black boxes constantly throughout the entire show which made it all but unwatchable. I wasn't one of the ones affected but apparently it was a huge problem.

Yeah, agreed. I'd much rather see Kane vs Finlay for the championship then what we have now..
