Ok i've been crafting for both woodworking and alchemy for awhile now. Using both to aquire money.and in doing so, i've noticed while doing my selling(and i'm sure i'm not the only one who has)that this individual WSA has been dominating alot of different stuff in the AH like sole sushi,all kinds of ammo,medicines etc.

The thing that pisses me off about this is, is that this person has been undercutting the shit out of all this stuff. Making it impossible for the rest of us to sell without undercutting him, therefore fucking everything up.

He has several mules with all common names dominating each item. Everybody knows that you can only sell 7 items at a time,and there doesn't seem to be a break in between his selling at all. Which leads me to believe that either he's botting or a gillseller that crafts for his rmt needs.or both.

I mean I could be wrong and falsely accusing. So thats why i've come here,to see what other peoples opinions are about this and there experiences. Maybe someone here knows whether hes a gillseller of not.

Also he's not the only one either. Theres others like with gimp names doing the same thing like aabbb, and shit like that. I mean i thought that in the last update SE got rid of all the gillsellers doing this shit but aparently not.Its fucking rediculous man.

Also one more thing,just for shits and giggles. Does anybody here know who Devilmaycry is? Everytime i go to the whitegate AH this person is always standing there at the same spot. Never leaves it. At first i thought they were a botter, but i checked ffxiah.com and this person hasn't bought or sold anything hardly this year. So why is this person standing there?Does anybody know them?I was just curious lol.

in the meantime you can "trade" with whomever you think is an AH bot and for about 30 minutes i think they cant acess the AH as they arent there to cancel the trade offer.
 
Hollboy now has another mule named "Hollboyboyboy", I'm unsure if he's raising it up to make sushi as well.

Like Khajit said, that'd be something more suitable to report to the STF.
 
maybe i should do that. Because this person is really dominating and undercutting bad.but see the thing is didnt know whether he was a gilseller or not.I figured someone here would know him or something

i wrote down the names of wsa and all his mules. And in total he has 16.i also wrote down a couple of others suspected. but mainly just him. sorry about the flameboard thing.

Just a note... Hollboyboyboy has been around since I joined this server... April '06, and has been making sushi since then.

I know I'd seen Hollboyboy (two boys lol) making sushi/sushi+1 for a long time, since like 05.

I didn't realize boyX3 has been around that long.

So let say Hollboy and his mule had been delete... price went up, you make profit, then a person who want to buy sushi will complain about price is too high.


And some of the afker that stay in AH since like forever could be FFXIAH AH data gather bot. I don't think FFXIAH get data directy from FFXI/SE itself, you need a character that check the history price for ever item. (Just imo)
 
I was always curious why Highmode was in front of the Port Sandy AH all the time

not when its their money making source. and they rightfully should be.

there is no medium for this. honest crafters wont deliberetly raise the price. steady income is a good thing. RMT undercutting them in a huge maner criples that. so i can see why this upsets him. its good for the non crafters cause they save money on food and dont get called gimp for not having food for exp parties (although that hasnt stopped lazy asses from showing up foodless).

on a side note i thought the price of sole was going UP not down.
 
Maybe SE should put the Goblin Bounty Hunters that go after low lvl fishbots in cities to kill the low lvl AHbots....

Actually I would be busting up laughing at all the low lvl's getting killed left and right at AH. Would make being in town more interesting lmao.

I completely disagree!

If people complain that the price is too high, then market forces will take effect and sellers will drop their price due to demand, but only if the selling price is profitable, or people will not create the product.

This will happen over time and not by some RMT bot arbitrarily selling for less than previous seller in order to sell faster. This is referred to as: dumping.

They are currently selling Sole Sushi at a loss. In order to HQ that synthesis you'd need to have cooking 94+. If you fish all of your own Black Sole (good luck with that) and grow your own rice it could be profitable, but the bots are not doing that. Additionally, the cost of the ingresients to make the synth does not include the HUGE losses from synth breaks and acquiring the Raw Fish Handling Key Item.

So, it wouldn't be fair to say the price was too high when you consider the work involved.

See what im talking about. Last night i put up 5 stacks of sleeping potions to sell. 3 sold alright but now im having a hell of a hard time selling my other 2 cause that wsamm and aabbb are going on a undercutting duke out with each other. Thought id just point that out.
 
SE should put in an automatic poison at Jeuno and Aht Urgan AH's if you stand still for longer then 5 minutes. Why? Loitering is against the law!
