after playing other MMOs like WoW, the only thing i have to complain about compared to FFXI is that FFXI's mailing system sucks balls.

why should we be limited, i would much rather have a mailbox system.

it is a royal pain to have to move armor around and only have 8 slots...

Yes I agree it does seem a bit silly. Especially when we have to mule gear. :/

The shit i dont get. How come the equipment you are wearing still takes up Inventory space...

I myself would enjoy a mixture between oblivions encumbermant system and diablo's square slot set up.

It doesn't make sense that a potion should take up the same amount of inventory that a bed does >_>;

If, per say, you're gobbie bag could hold a maximum of such and such squares, and such and such weight, then yeah that would be awesome.

and the delivery system sucks worse. Especially with the server's lag lately that makes it load halfway then die on me, then that horrible red message, the server is busy now, try again later.

lol what are you talking about? I love abusing the mailing system.. it gives me an infinite storage space :P it's awesome

In the end SE is going to do whatever it wants to do to distinguish itself from other MMOs, even at the expense of being gay.

Did everyone forget that WoW's so-called glorious mailing system requires you to wait an hour or so before you can even get you item?

Imagine having more than 8 slots available for instant transfer between characters and what that would do to any server. You'd probably send a PCC from a mule and end up with somebody's Water Cluster instead.

Or if you want a WoW mailbox then fucking go play WoW. FFXI isn't WoW. WoW isn't FFXI.

Uh, mail in WoW from one character to another character on the same account is instantaneous. It's only from different accounts where there's an hour wait, and at that point, either a. recipient is offline (or in the middle of doing something) so waiting the hour is probably a non-issue or b. recipient is online and available, so why not just stroll up to them and trade?

I just love the kiddies who join and after a month think they got it down here. Then they attack a high respected member. OH THE LULZ

Mailing system sucks, I wholeheartedly agree, however if we had grid-based inventory then many people would be totally screwed, since the majority of inventory/storage consists of weapons/armor (which in most of those grid games take up to 1x5/2x3 for weapons and 2x2 to 2x4 for most armors and 1 spot for accessories. It'd leave us with either a gross lack of inventory space of such an enormous inventory grid that it'd be detrimental trying to figure out where everything is.

wtb old mailing system. 1 million/1 slot limit on Gil obviously didn't deter RMT, so remove it.

if i remember correctly, Lineage 2 doesnt have mail box system, well been too long, might be wrong, but i remember have to drop items at safe location and pick it up with my other character.

Portable Holes. Portable holes solve all problems. Except for the whole tear in the time space continuum thingee.

I dont understand why people bother to day this, it doesnt make any sense for this to even be mentioned when talking about a games strong and/or weak points.

Hahaha April Fools, the OP doesn't really think the delivery system sucks.
