Red= Old crew
Yellow= New crew
There may be more from the list but all I know are highlighted as such.
Also, Wbanwat was there but I didn't get a screen of his name.

Now I KNOW Sonicteam and them were part of the 800 person ban from an email from Nuki's old controller who was a decent person IRL just had an immoral job. She expressed remorse for her job but did what she had to do. (Please don't go off on me for actually getting to know a seller, I still hate them all for what they do to our game. She just gave me insight on their side of the story at a time when I wondered how a person could knowingly hurt that many people. This isn't a discussion as to the morality of the business.)

My thing is, WTF are they doing back? How did they get their accounts back at all? Have any others come back? I know fishbots are back despite the new systems. What have you guys seen? And isn't it HILARIOUS that there is now Seller vs. Seller teams on a mob? Sonicteam is gonna PWN the newbies.

Buy new copy, level same jobs with old name.

TADA.

All banning does is slow down gilseller activity, it can't and won't stop it.

They didnt' relevel those jobs, they are the same accounts. Somebody would've reported seeing Sonicteam sometime before they reached level 50+. Unless they know a magic leveling place that is.

Would they have? There are plenty of out-of-the-way leveling spots, and I sure as hell didn't do a /sea all Sonicteam every day just to see if he/she/it was back.

The only other thought is Return Home to Vana'diel, but that doesn't make too much sense, since it said banned accounts couldn't be restored.

They probably bought a new copy of the game. From my understanding is that the registration code is banned (the one in your manual), not the actual player account and code that is used (where you log in your ID/PASS).

That could make some sense as to why theyre back, and at the same level, probably reregistered under a new identity but in reality same account.

Why they would buy a new copy and start over with the same name if they didnt want to get caught again? Well, they aren't the brightest people in general, but yeah.....

I guess we can never know the answer unless from the source, maybe they were let off from their ban too? :?

dude... you need to add 2 more bars onto that next to 2 other names... if lamatile doesn't sell gil then i have no idea what she does with all her gil and huang is a known gilseller from flood's crew...

My personal opinion? It's the same accounts. S-E has a hard on for the gil sellers, it's a win-win situation for them. Sure, people complain about them all the time, but how many times have you heard someone quit and say, "I'd still be playing if it weren't for those damn CGS." I've heard others say it, but not actually quit FF.

The gil sellers make the game harder for the die-hard players, so they have to work harder and play longer (read: spend more money on FF). The gil sellers make it easier on the smucks who are lazy and want to buy gil, people who would say "Waa, this game is too hard" and quit. Couple that with the fact that yes, it is impossible to stop and even difficult to just slow down the CGSer, and you can see how easy the choice is for S-E.

These particular CGS's stepped over the line and got "banned", but the punishment is over and they are welcomed back to FF with open arms.

Actually, this is something that I find rather interesting...

Not because the gilsellers are back, but because now I can see what else happens to archer ring prices now that gilsellers are back.

Those that were paying attention probably noticed that archer ring prices shot up quickly after the gilsellers vanished. I doubt it is a coincidence, since it was also around that time that SE added new sniper ring alternatives, which -should- have made the price go -down-, not up.

Now that the gilsellers are back, it would be rather interesting to see what happens to the price again.

Although I still think the gilsellers should focus on doing ENMs. They're open for everyone with no competition, and the drops are rather valuable. Plus, those drops are rare because the ENMs are hard and the good items drop rather rarely. Plus, if the gilsellers do the ENMs, the items will become more common and come down in price (hopefully). Imagine if gilsellers got good enough to do the Ouryu BCNM for kunwu ore. I know that having more in the economy (heck, having some in the economy, period) will make DRKs happy.

So in the end, if gilsellers do ENMs:
-Gilsellers are happy, because they make money
-Average players are happy, because the rare items aren't so rare and are more affordable
-Gilseller-haters are happy, because for a few hours each week, gilsellers are off doing other things that don't directly hurt them

So, Taurothar, why don't you suggest that to Nuki (if he/she's still around...)

*cough* Welcome back to Vanadiel *cough*

Makes sense actually

/sigh. It does, doesn't it....

Nuki wouldn't respond to ANY of my /tells so I'm under the impression its a new set of users too. Also, as far as not putting those last two names on highlight, I only marked people I know are sellers, I wasn't sure about the others. Looks like I was the only non-seller there. Either way, I welcome back Sonicteam and them with open arms as well, they will undoubtably lower the prices again because they have a system that seems to keep it down, not to mention the things that are more entertaining. There's nothing better than watching your enemies take eachother out for a while until they both give up and you have free reign. I'd like to see more rare/ex drops of things that matter like Leaping boots, Emp pin, and the like. These things are too uncontrollable in the AH and if we COULDN'T sell them at all, there'd be no profit campers, and everyone would have a chance at the items that all the elitists out there claim you NEED to be good at the job you want to play. The two above mentioned items are too common for their own good, I haven't been in a party without someone wearing both items in as long as I can remember playing and I find it sick that there is almost no viable alternatives for many jobs. (sorry for the rant).

It's obviously the same accounts.

Why would anyone get banned and relevel the same exact jobs with the SAME EXACT NAMES? You're asking to be banned again. Think about how slow Square-Enix acted last time. The benefit of having new names with clean records far outweighs the benefit of keeping the old name... why...? because there are no benefits to keeping the old name.

My guess is still that the DoS Attack SE was getting and the return of the 800 bans is connected.

yeah i posted this on the flameboard a week ago.
Anyone know how to start an online petition?
Someone should do that and make a post on alla and killing ifrit on this. if we got ever FFXI player to sign a petition SE would have to notice their screwup.

Eh, there absence hasn’t brought Gil inflection down.

becuase they dont high the prices, they lower them, WE put them higher...

Ive reported this to a gm as we speak and hes asking for mnames and actually listening

THe gm also said that if they're back online then they probably werent banned which i highly doubt but anyway id suggest everyone report this in so that it doesnt seem like only one guy merely considers this an issue and was possibly misinformed or talking about nothing important.

Id also suggest waiting till sonicteam goes back online since the gm actually searches for the people you report.
