The guy is now talking about possibly archiving our main forum for no good reason because he couldn't just move it where it was suppored to be in the first place instead of creating a new and redundant forum. He then offered no explanation for his actions, instead blowing it off with the "OMG exaggeration" bit. Also notice that even though he moved up the FFXI section, he didn't move it to the top.

I think that's reason to be upset.

Only when those changes break our main forum for no reason and start making things look like this place is about something other than what we want it to be about.

Anyhow, stop whining. The forum is run how it is run, while I almost agree the fact this idiotic topic got so much traffic is pathetic. Ever hear of the PM system? Other posters aren't going to up and change it. If you have a problem PM mods, they are not as useless as they seem sometimes.

Forums should be FF first, yes, but this whole topic is stupid. PM system, use it.

Edit: In any case I don't find it any more of a hassel to get around QCDN. Personally I don't see what the big deal is.

I fail to see why I should not object to a change I don't agree with, even if it's minor, or you find it insignificant. How about you shut up instead?
 
i love the change and organization. wouldnt change a thing, i read a few pages of this thread but could not continue with chance of drowning in emo tears XD

Can we just change the damn forums back to what they were before vbulletin? God, the only good change that ever happened to these forums was adding LS forums. After thats its all been downhill.

This is barely a few days old. Ever hear of giving something a chance? I thought the forum change was kinda nifty.

I never read the forum descriptions most of the time. The stuff like General Chat and Off Topic i thought were just common knowledge. I think it would be pretty lame to nix the whole thing because of some crappy descrpition like that, and just continue to use it as normal.

My point being that we don't need 2 forums for the same thing and that this forum is useless if we still use GD the way it was used before.
 
I feel it's worth noting that I have only been disrespectful to those presenting my opinion as meaningless, or saying I should not voice it, and even then, it has not been because I disagree with them.

Also, Tyrath for the gold. Like I said. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
