Is it just me, but as certain items are rising rapidly in price (See Ruffy's thread on the flameboard referencing Wyvern Helms), other items continue to plummet. Adaman Cuirass a prime example. I'm trying to offload extra crap that I dont use anymore, and start saving for the inevitable Thick Set + Hauberk for my DRK, and maybe even an eventual O-Hat. I can't do that with prices doing what they are =/

Hauby > Hauberk for the job and level reasons. If you have PLD or SAM leveled or ever intending to level, it's a much better choice. Not to mention, if you ever plan on doing 60 cap things, you have something better than your AF to equip. Oh, and Thick gear is cheap as hell compared to other options for the same slots.

Sure, But is it wide spread like last christmas? Or is it just on a few items... hell most of the equipment i've been buying lately is waaaaaaaaay down in price. Maybe there are less ppl making the said items that have risen, also, maybe more ppl are in need of said items... Little thing called supply and demand.

Just kindof curious, but...if you like up-to-date gear, shouldn't you have a Haubergeon you could just just trade in for a Hauberk once you hit L69? Or do you have one and wanted to keep it for using on PLD as well? Just curious, cause that seems like a pretty expensive choice to make if just for fashion purposes.
