Yes, they are RMT. I called a GM on Newelbort and Newjack before because one of there 3rd party software majigs was goin haywire lol

Yes, the New family are RMT, but my experience with them is limited to when I was leveling BST on bombs in Gusgen Mines. Newjack would look at Halifirien and myself every time he passed us while doing his perpetual lap of mining points, giving us higher tier buffs, curing us if we were banged up and killing Banshees who would sometimes block us off from needed pets. I'm sure he's played by a roster of people, so maybe we encountered one of the more pleasant personalities involved.

Oh yea... while they are very agressive against anyone with mining gear, they are amazingly nice to people who don't. I can't remember a single time I've been in there before with a single pick axe (helping people with dozens of quests, farming revival root & ash, crystals, etc) and they all seem to remember those who show up without mining. In fact...I earned a lot of japanese muttering in an xp party once when a party of them ran by and recognized me, throwing me a couple of cures. lol...I've never been able to decide what I think about those RMT types who are nice to me...of course...if I'm sure they'd treat me differently if I ran in there with mining gear all of a sudden. But the worse thing I've done is kill NM's one or two of them were attempting to use to MPK someone with; didn't get much of a reaction from that either.

When I mine in gusgen Mines, he's always there. I'm surprised that he left the mines to party! I'm chinese so I managed to talk to him.. (hard to communicate via typing Chinese in English letters becuase it's hard to knw what is being said) He was really nice to me when I would compete against him in the Mines...he would even give me some colored rocks (not much..but gil is gil when I'm desperate! 5k is better than nothing!) there are other competitors in Mines that I hate more than him, because he rspects me...maybe because I talked to him long long ago. He even D2 me with Newelbort (sp?) one time when I asked for it. But yeah..I really don't think he should be doing anything BUT mine...because it seems as though that's what his character is set out to do. (thus making him a suck WHM in parties)

Mages can also move out the way, as well. =/ It's actually better if the mages move, especially on a SATA set up. If the first voke or tank has to move, it's gonna slow some things down. As a WHM, I tend to get out the way of a possible Viruna, though my PLD usually keeps it facing away. Both parties (meaning party members) should cooperate.

I'm not saying he's not a shitty whm, i'm guessing he is, but if your BLINK tank requires so many cure 3's there isn't a whole lot of blinking going on, right?

I aggree mages should move, but i'm assuming this is in valley of sorrows, not sure if OP said or not. But cursna comes from the raptors. The sata thing, meh, get sata off, turn the mob to the wall, not that hard and in VoS the alley isn't exactly big enough for mages to move around in.
 
Not sure if it was answered but Newjack and Newelbort or whatever his name is, are both gil sellers. They worked the Gusgen Mines for quite a long time and are one single person if I am not mistaken. When one goes afk, the other will start moving. Also you can note the change of attitude of the player suddenly (shift change) and at moments is very friendly and others, very aggressive. I would advise not ever partying with him again or if you do, let him die and then boot him. He deserves such. When I used to mine Gusgen he was a pain in the ass and as such I gave him the treatment he deserved.
 
Sounds like a sold account to me o_O I knew newjack roughly 1.5-2years ago, he spoke only english and didn't seem anything odd. Unless I'm thinking of someone else >.> I'm pretty sure he had pimp gear also (well... for the time, nowdays that gear would be average if not expected XD)
 
Yeah the Newjack I knew was chinese and spoke english fairly well. I think he was RMT at the time though, but he helped me scam a few RMT about a year ago. He also used to fish up silver rings like... ALL of the time. Nice guy, still RMT though.
 
Ok I have a story about a Chinese farmer I have befriended, when I played World of Warcraft: Endless quest for bigger shoulderpads.

Last Monday I went to Darnassus for the first time to do some Alchemy. While I'm standing there a level 10 rogue comes up to me and says "ni hao ma." He was lucky because I study Chinese at school, so I could talk to him a little. It's really hard speaking out of context in pin yin (the Romanization of Chinese characters) because there are so many possible words. He ended up asking me for 5 gold. I gave him 5 silver and told him I had to go. I added him to my Friends list because I thought it would be cool to see the progression of a farmer. Also, my friend was level 10 at the time and he is terribly slow at leveling so I wanted to see the difference.

Throughout the week I've been watching him level and I'll occassionaly send him a message asking him how he is and asking if he remembers me. I know they work in shifts so I didn't know if he would. On Friday he was level 38 I believe while my friend was around 18. My friends and I also made a guild and invited him to that. He accepted and became "Our Little Farmer." Yesterday someone linked Herald of Woe into the guild chat and he responds HOW MUCH. This was the first time any of us had seen him speak any English whatsoever, not even a "yes" or "no" or "gold" before.

The interesting part was what happened today. My friends and I had a LAN over the weekend and when we logged off this morning at around 5am he was level 41. Today when I logged on again at about 1 he was level 48! He gained 7 levels in 8 hours. At around 5 pm he was level 51. He gained 10 levels in 12 hours. I knew he had to have been exploiting, so my friend invited him to a group and tracked him down. He was in the SW corner of Feralas and then instantly he would be teleported to Gadgetzan right in front of our eyes. Then he would be teleported back. We saw that he looted a Hippogryph Egg before teleporting. I guess this is a teleport hack to do this repeateable quest over and over again that can give you a large amount of XP and items each time you do it.

I started talking to him asking him how he was going so fast and he became interested in my Chinese skill. He agreed to tell me how to do it but I was only allowed to tell my friends at my house and not my guildmates. My friend looted an egg, but he didn't say anything else or he did and I just didn't understnd it. I talked to him for a while and found out that he would just level up the guy to 60 and then farm money so that he could go out and have fun. He is an 18 year old that does this occasionally and he does go to school. They level the character 24/7 in shifts. He said he comes in at 8 in the morning for a 12 hour shift and then someone else takes over. He said my Chinese was very good and that his English was really bad. He also talked about how China is lagging behind America in technological development, but some of his friends have American friends. He said that I was his first American friend which he clarified by saying "NO.1". He really wants me to be his friend so I said I'll talk to him tomorrow.

Dave is right he was in our old ls Crystal Reavers. Spoke english sounded like a pretty cool guy. Granted this was long ago. Used to be my main competition in Gusgen Mines and until recently he has not been there so much. I would assume its probably a bought account. I have not spoken to him since he left CR.
 
I also remember checking him once and his bazaar message saying something like "n00bs MPK'd 200 and counting" lol This was about a year ago i'd say
