Im just wondering, why, exactly, they have rose to 100k.

Just about 2 months ago (maybe more), when I 'Didnt' need the helm, it was around 20k.

What the hell happened to make it go up to 100k, lol? Just curious.

Check the price of Guivre's skull. Lack thereof perhaps? I'd fancy a guess there's less RMT in and around Kuftal thus less Guivre kills.

Same can be said for the Staves. fucking 10-30k for most then BAM 60k+ in the last 2 days <,<

Its really too bad that the wyvern skulls from the Hurricane Wyverns are r/e... Id get one and just post on the crafting board, lol. Poor ol' me is just lv 1 Bonecrafter

Can always farm a skull as long as you know a bonecrafter who can make the synth on the spot. The rare/ex (that means they need to be there when it drops) wyvern skulls used for the opo-opo crown quest can also be used to make the helm as well.

Oh is that so? I never knew that. I guess that answered my long time puzzle of why that helm was so cheap where the only way to get the material was from a 24 NM that dropped it.

I have a feeling its gonna rise, though... But then again, half the equipment I bought was when it was 1m+, and is now 300k-700k lol >.>

It wouldn't surprise me that much if the helm rises a little more. It's awfully cheap for its IMO exceptional stats.

It's because not that long ago, people used to spam synths for the HQ for a huge profit. I think now people have realized how to HQ a lot better so less failed NQ synths and since everyone has BLM leveled, the demand is also much higher. Also, Staves aren't that low of a HQ rate. They are Tier II synths at a 75 cap which is a 25% HQ rate. 100 cap WW +3 from gear and MH item and +3 from HQ Support NPC.

well they definitely used to sell that low, I bought my dark staff for around 15k lol. Guess they all used to be retarded?

They're tier 0 with a subcraft that's also tier 0.

I know that =P but I've seen more Gem Cuirass and Penance Robes than I've seen Wyvern +1s.

Probably for the reason already stated. The materials require a Guivre Helm which is a HNM or a Wyvern Helm which is EX and requires the crafter to be present during the synth. So I'd guess a lack of materials and tier 0 are the main reasons. Plus, I don't think the HQ sells all that fast.

I used one of those to make Wyvern Helm +1 on my 1st attempt. If you really can't afford the Wyvern Helm, then feel free to make a plan with me, to go Wyvern mashing at Ifrits.

I bought a helm, but +1?? lol Id be pretty fun to go smashing some wyverns to get a +1, or even for ya to sell.

But Id have to get an entire pt together to get the skulls (or almost, at least a tank and healer) and theyd want one too most likely.
