Meh.. first time really trying to do something like this. Tried to give each wyvern a different look, with some shading and hue differences. Came out pretty good for a first attempt.

Shadows.. are evil. And I don't like them. D: Did my best though, a bit out of practice. XD

Enjoy

Its beautiful. I like the way they all look different, I wish they'd actually come in different colors for each DRG. It seems a bit dark but its probably this shitty monitor here at work.

No it's a little dark. Was playing with lighting effects and some photo filters. ^^;

thats adorable and bad ass iso, good job!

I think it's a great start. Might need more work on the gradient of shadows. Some parts just look a little too flat.

~.~; yeah i dont like shadows. Havent really messed with lighting too much before. So it's something imma need to practice.

As a DRG myself, I must say that rocks, Iso

If you were so inclined to make an awesome picture (which it very much is, btw), hilariously awesome, add the party seek icon above their heads.

Very, very well done tho. Keep up the great work!

lol.. thats so very very mean, Lucki XD

lol @ lucki

but nice bg iso

Nice work Isollde. The darkness of the different wyverns makes them blend in with the surroundings very well. The only one that could perhaps use a bit more shadow, is the one laying down at the base of the tree. But other than that, nice play with the effects.

Goals in game:

1. Finish Gungnir
2. Complete Ares Body
3. MPK Lucki

You so awesome, you go girl. :)

Now for the constructive criticism: (it's long, so it's gets a spoiler!)

Spoiler:

The one in the far left corner is a bit blurred along with the bottom right corner. You may have been going for a focus blur, but remember to go back and clean up the edges to make them blend after you blur or else you just get a flat 2D look. Don't be afraid to erase or cut off parts of the tails or heads or anything else for that matter. Remember that your eyes can't focus and distinguish small details at every angle, such is why they're called blind spots.

I see a lot of brightening on some of them, but not from lighting. As if they were forced to be brightened instead of drawing in the light around them. You already said you were new with lighting and I am too, it blows. Try to not just imagine the wyverns in the photo but also yourself standing in it. What kind of lighting do you think you'd see from where you're standing?

One last thing: Find a focal point. It adds depth and reality. The little guy flying in the middle of the image seems to be a little bit too clear. He seems to be towards of the middle of the surrounding environment as far as depth is concerned, so if you were focusing on things up close he should be blurrier. You may have meant for the front 2 to be out of focus, and the further ones to be in focus, but the one in the bottom right seems to be too clear for that to be portrayed to me.

It's just artist to artist criticism, don't take it to heart, it really is a neat picture :)

Thanks for the critique ^^ Exactly what I was looking for. :) I'm gonna work on it some more.
