Xbox 360 ELITE and new hard drive is now OFFICIAL

If it's got an HDMI port and it's supported by a big name brand then it's going to be updated. There's probably an upgrade for you out already, have you checked since you got your TV?

correct me if Im wrong but I use to be into the modding scene for xbox original. I thought I seen people formatting PC hard drives to work with 360. As far as I know 360 is still in the development of modchips working correctly. I myself have the firmware flashed and am perfectly fine with burning the games atm. Especially is cool to modify the games and then burn them to dvds and run them. Kinda silly on Microsoft's part that they are letting this go since it upraises many problems over xbox live with modified game content.

Fire I did get an update, but even after that its not true 1.3HDMI I receive, as you said maybe its coming tho. The numbers run in 1.3HDMI are far greater then TVs atm tho, that big of a jump in just our simple HD upgrades? I'm not so much into that fire so I don't really know. I need to look further.
As for modding. Try to mod online in a ranked match now. Ppl are booted almost instantly now. Some may get away but the security on xblive has improved so much imo. Halo2 trouble compared to the little shit happening in RB6V... and with UnrealT3 and Halo3 releasing, online play will need to be secure. High competition in those games

You can load any HD into any console. They're connected in the same way as a PC HD is, just format it and away you go. PS3 is the one that can acess external HDs tho.
