Xbox Live Troubles

[Auron X]

I've been trying to connect to xbox live for an hour so far and it seems that every time I try it connects for a second then disconnects right away.

Anyone know why it keeps kicking me off xbox live?

Its been messing up for alot of people for quite awhile. I've been unable to play CoD4 for a few hours now.

maybe they are gettin ready for a update or something. or cod4 killed the servers lol

It's weird, because despite not being signed in, it still tells me when my friends come on.

It wouldn't even let me sign in my profile while on cod, so i jumped to the dashboard and although im signed it and it shows i have messages, i cant really see im online and it freezes when i try and open my messages deal.

I tried getting on last night from 8pm until 12am... I did manage to get one, but just for a few minutes.
If you sign onto non Xbox Live profiles everything works. Or disconnect your router and play offline, but who the hell wants to do that?!
