This bastard of bastards is a douchebag. I'm lv 59 with 3600 tnl. We get the party ready, head to Lab. of Onzozo, and start fighting. After the first fight, he bitches about not getting refresh since he is a smn (which is understandable), but he in turn was moron for not checking our rdm, who was JP and obviously overlooking the smn. A simple {Refresh} {please} woulda solved things, but since he didn't check, he didnt get jack shit. I got refresh when I asked for it, so ha.

And then cuz he's out of Mp, our leader says "Don't melee so much then." and he retorts "Do i tell you how to do your job?"

Jackass! You're the one with NO mp left after ONE fight! Someone needs to recheck the way they cast shit! And then to top everything off, he goes AFK without ANY notice right after a fight. And was afk two fights after.....and then 40 min after. So pretty much, I made a little over 1k exp cuz of this cockwhore and wasted an entire Dedication charge....YOU FUCKER!

LOL! Pretty much, yah.. X's are warning labels. I've never actually EXP'd with romeo, but he's always been a good bro. WTF is the summoner meleeing for? Or did I misread that? Between trying to pretend to be a white mage and being a summoner one doesn't really have much time to melee too. I mean yah, sometimes I melee with my avatar depending on what I'm killing... but even with a maxed staff skill I'm still going to be wasting my time and the parties time by engaging the mob in an EXP party. (Usually they're IT++ and I want to be as far out've the aoe as possible with my paper thin def.) I mean if you gotta really good ninja tank and you're bored... grab a skill up or two. But if that's not the case, and obviously it wasn't, eat a cookie and drop to a knee and rest. Word of advice... don't instantly use those EXP bands. Wait til at least after the first chain unless you know you're in a party that's going to last. I had to learn that the hard way. You're starting to remind me of why I stopped LFG, lol. Anyway, good luck with your next party.
 
We had a Smn replace a BlM over in Valley Of Sorrows.. nice elvaan lady.

Now a meleeing Smn.. is just stupid.
I was exping in the Jungle with my Sam, I look over...... and theres a Smn staffing the thing. Why?
This is as bad as a whm Melee.. you are a mage.. do your job.. You sit back, cast, and rest. nothing more. Even as a RdM you do this, meleeing in an exp pt benefits no one and hurts everyone.
Please, think of the Exp rings.

hehe i'm WHM, I melee :P only when pt give me an approval, I remember I was leveling in Biki bay, I ask pt that I want to melee for 1-2 fights, just to use TP, and I told them if I'm running out of mp faster then before or pt is getting own, I'll back off, but the pt was a great pt, so I didn't do cures much. I help the pt SC light and does a good burst on it, of course that is only a while 1-3 fights :P

And another time in sky as lv.74 whm (Now lv.75) I had kraken club, and I didn't use it cuz those weapons AOE sucks and add stun ; ; when one of the dd dc'ed, i ask pt if I can melee and do light SC so blm can do some 1k damage MB, (It was Hexa Stike, and one of the DRK WS that I forgot hehe) since I was using kraken club of course meleeing as whm well miss a lot, but the attack 2-8 will cover that with sushi :P, me and my drk alway rdy for tp when ready, and rdm does refresher, I still doing cures while meleeing, we got good SC, and nice MB, end up getting 5k more for like 1 1/2 hour while other dd still dc'ed and looking for replacement

basicly, you can't say that we're mage doesn't mean we can't melee, you just need pt approval and know when turn stop meleeing, and using your head and listen to other people, when I melee in exp, I listen to people, and no one ever die and no delay if you know what you doing, but if you the person who don't listen to people, and keep meleeing when your MP is like 400 (basic on lv.65+), don't melee, you just acting like a noob
 
I've never XP'ed with Xhunter or Xgolden but they are both nice guys anytime I've spoken to them....as for Xromeox....don't know him. The point about the majority of people with the prefix "X" is understandable though. In many cases it denotes a lack of effort on the player's part and that can translate into a lack of effort withing a party and that's never good.
