What race should I choose for my new Beastmaster?

Mithra. The earwwarmers are just ridiculously adorable that are built into helms and hats.
 
I've been in a duo with one of every race for at least 2 whole levels except another Hume. I'm Hume btw.

The best balance overall, in my opinion, seems to be Tarutaru. I always have higher base CHR, but that doesn't really seem to matter. Misscharms are damn near random. Elves do more melee damage than me overall, but the difference is nominal

Don't let the Mithra's really low CHR dissuade you. I duo'd with a Mithra from 68-71 and got dusted on misscharms, and this was charming the Oil Slicks in the mire for the most part.

Hume seems pretty good for the job, but the best balance I've seen is out of Tarus

I'd say taru, because on your 2nd time through it would probably be nice to at least feel like you are running faster, even if it is just an illusion.
 
I was but when I thought about how much fun beast was to play it made me want to play again. I haven't been playing because I don't really have anything to do anymore.

hmm I think I will be a small taru. Should I pick the redheaded with pigtails?
