Yea its been talked about....BUT

Hello and Welcome to I'm not even going to bother writing the end of this joke because it's terribly old news and even though I'm inadvertently writing something longer in it's place, my message will still get across.

It's pretty easy to tell where that call would end though.

The amount of retarded in this thread is impossible to gauge. Seriously.

1) You congratulate some piece of shit of a human being for screwing people over and completely party ditching a group without even a "5 min got to go".

2) You don't condemn people buying autumnstones from OBVIOUS RMT and try to play stupid about who they are.

3) You think its ok to use certain 3rd party programs, a CLEAR violation of the rules, cause you need to know if you shitty axe is doing 1% more dmg.

4) You celebrate the fact that some moron gave $500k to RMT for a haitate.

etc. etc.

What he did is no different. Bending the rules for his advantage. Hell, technically you can't even call it a RMT transaction cause it wasn't even real money. He trade imaginary money to get an item he wanted. And he's condemend now because A) he doesn't have 1000+ posts on this board or B) he not a member of some elist prick shell on the server.

And only idiots applauded him for doing so. You don't care that Darth bought the belt for 2 mil, but you care that Kunal bought a Haidate for 500k? What, do you have to buy X amount of gil before you no longer care that they're supporting the gil sellers?

see you try and put words in peoples mouths. i didnt say that, i was saying its the same situation and people praise kunal for "stickin it too RMT" while darth is getting shit talked for his actions. same situation different amounts.

BY THE LIGHT OF THE MOON

Though, yeah, this thread is kinda stupid. D:

Wait wait wait...he payed (in gil not dollars) for an Autumstone from RMT.

If he bought one from a non RMT...is that still bad? Or ok cause they wouldn't be RMT?

1. The group was late gathering, I was by no means the last person there. When I "Ditched" the group it was still long before we started. Also, this is now three groups I've done the DM with in 4 weeks, all victories. In fact, if you check the events forums you'll see I only offered to help yesterday, if they had people who didn't show. Idk, some people might find that a kind act, if you wanna twist it around that I was being selfish to 'ditch a group' thats your choice. Zethren was being sarcastic...

2. This has been handled in good ole Celv's thread.

3. The lolwindower vs. actual hacks debate again. Get over it. Parsing is only frowned on by a select few people, and as for the shitty axe comment, a shitty hax did beat joyeuse in a parse with a ton less tp given to the mob. Looks like I can add you to the list of "make sure I don't merit with them" Is it a violation of the rules, somewhat yes. Its for informational purposes only, I'm not changing any game dynamics. If you wanna rehash this 3 year old debate, go ahead, I'm not arguing it again.

4. I didn't congratulate someone on ripping off rmt. 250k for the haidate is 250k more that they didn't have.

1. He was talking about the flame he started where Chemira ditched his shitty party without inviting a rep and putting someone else through that hell he called a party. Don't worry about it Jamal, he's just pissy his PTs can't match up to Chem's standards.

2. yup.

...I can't figure out if this is directed toward me or not. You're quoting me, but doing a horrible job of describing me.

hes quoting what you said, and changing it to something else. His whole post isn't directed to you though.

Who cares like Darth said it's a video game. lol

I sold something to the RMT the a couple of nights ago.
I even got witnesses of it. lol

OH MY GOD LOL DARTH BOUGHT VELOCIOUS BELT FROM RMT!!!!!

Seriously, he saved a shitload of gil instead of just buying speed. This isn't drama, this is retarded. Kudos, darth.

In all honesty, the RMT he bought it from probably got banned a few weeks later.

And it'll drive other RMT to camp it, because they know peo--scum will buy it.

I am confused... he paid gil, game money, for a peice of equipment in a game? I understand the ethical dilema when dealing with RMT's and paying them REAL currency for gil to further thier character. But paying them gil, and in this case, far less gil then an item probably would have sold for had it been properly displayed and advertised in the community doesn't really hit my hot button.

He made an in-game transaction to purchase an Item which apparently sells for 25mil (according to some of the posts on here) 30 mil on FFXIAH, for 2mil. By my calculation he actually prevented the gilsellers from having
23mil-28mil to sell to r-tards for actual currency.

I hope I don't get flamed for this due to the nature of the post. I would like to make it clear that I am not supporting RMT's. But the transaction made appears to have taken gil away from them. Which most of us would agree is a good thing.

But if your really read into this argument, some of you are saying that it would be ok to screw some legitamate player out of a high cost item buy buying it for significantly less then it is worth, but it is not ok to screw an RMT? Personally, I would be honest with a player if they had no clue what the were selling and asking a rediculously low sum for it. I would /tell them and let them know that they can get way more.

But if I had an oppurtunity to buy some awesome peice of gear from an RMT for a fraction of what they might end up getting for it. I probably would to keep the excess out of their hands. Being actively associated with RMT transactions is not a good thing if you are supporting them, but If you have a chance to stick it to them... take it.

Darth appears to be clearly involved further with RMT's then just this singular transaction so I say, if you don't like it. Just don't play with him.

Please correct me if I have missed the point of the argument. But I feel this is a logical statement on my part.

They offer to sell very low because there is only a 5 minute time limit for the sale. The item is question is rare/ex.
