Hey guys. I don't know who still checks the site, but this is Honcho from back in the day. Pretty pumped to gte back in the MMO game seeing as how 14 looks like its gonna be sweet with the reboot. I just wanted to see if there was a server old quetzy people are going to? or if any of my old buddies are still around if theyre gonna play! Thanks!
 
its gonna be split up really. I see a lot of people not using legacy are going to Diabolos. A large chunk of old school QCDN players that are using legacy, whom don't visit the site anymore will be on Balmung. As far as the general consensus I have seen has been.
 
I have read endless threads on folks going to Hyperion. Likely thats where I will be.
 
Hey Honcho, good to see you're still kicking.

I plan on starting fresh on quite possibly Diabolos, been enjoying the experience there during the beta.

However, I may also apply for a server transfer of my 1.0 character to either Balmung or Hyperion, wherever the majority of us old school peeps are going. Just so that's an option too.

My 1.0 character got tossed in Gungir (JP Legacy server) and I have a way more solid connection on the NA servers.

I'm playing a fresh toon ,Slapaho Pimpalot, on Diabolos for now. I hope to see all the old QCDNers agree on a server for phase 4.
 
So new players can't join Legacy servers at all? If we could all be on one server, that would be cool.
 
From what I'm told, it's not so much a matter of can't, and more a matter of don't want to.

Heh, Well I didn't really play my 1.0 character much. I was on him for maybe just 30 minutes or so, to see if the cutscenes or starting area would be any different due to us being The Warriors of Light and all. Wasn't, so when I got through that I just fiddled with my inventory. Have no way of telling if anything was missing, but as far as I could tell I had all my old stuff, which wasn't much. So just put my 1.0 gear, took a few screenshots and then checked to see what the Legacy Mark looked like. Was surprised to see Tak was online in the Wolves of Mibu LS that I still had so I talked with him for a little bit before logging onto my Diabolos server character that I had been playing on.

That was the extent of my 1.0 character testing. There's really nothing worthwhile about him tbh, other than the Legacy Mark. Turns out I only had about 6k gil after the conversion which isn't much at all. My lvl 20 Thaumaturge on Diabolos has like 21-22k gil already and that's after spending some on buying a minion.
 
The CS for legacy hasnt been implemented yet, they do hint at it and have different parts in the story for 1.0 characters, I noticed quite a few as I played through it. I'm sure it will be more when they figure out how to break the effects of the spell that messed up their memories.

You should get you a sidekick and have them name their toon Bignick Digger.

dej! long time no see man! miss theflock days pretty bad :P hopefully u play 14 and we can get on same server man.. maybe 14 will bring the almighty BST to the game too
 
For anyone that remembers us, me and honcho are now legally married :) hope to see everyone ingame
