Up until now, Ballista has been a one-way street. Players could only participate in nationally sponsored matches located in areas determined by the IRNC. But now, with the opening of a new area designed specially for Ballista, adventurers from all over the world can take the excitement into their own hands.

Some of the new area's features include:
*Area Reservation--reserve the area for you and your friends!
*Rule Adjustment--set various rules such as match length, level restrictions, and more!

While installation of the Chains of Promathia expansion pack is required to access the new Ballista area, progression in the missions is not necessary. However, a small amount of gil and/or Ballista Points may be requested before utilizing several of the services.

I would guess this is the Diorama Abhaljasajkdsnjfksdnjkfsdwhatever - Ghelseba and Purgonorgo Isle areasfound in FFXItool. Sounds cool nonetheless :)

Oh good god, now for all those people who wanted to do LS only Ballista, here is your chance. Ballista Specific Zones, Being able to set the rules. Now if they only made the prizes better, I dont think I would ever stop going to ballista.

This patch needs to happen tomorrow~!
 
Now to get back at Pupusa and Ghaleon for all that trash talk a few months ago lol. Pup i would like you to meet the Sleep + Freeze combo :twisted: lol this is gonna be sweet Muahahahahhahahaahaaaaa. Sad thing is that ppl know to go for the whm and blm first so other then single man tournaments it might be a little repetitive. idk i just hope it doesnt come to that. or that it comes to certian parties are formed. you all know what i mean the "Rng, Rng, Rng, Brd, Blm, Blm ONLY " cannon parties that ppl always set up for BCNM and Promies.

There's only one thing I want SE to do with this new Ballista thing: make it "instanced" (similar to WoW's instances, or the various BCs in FFXI). Basically, make it so that if one group is already in there, another group can enter and get their own version of it - that way, you don't have to wait until the other group finishes to go in. Of course, there might be a cap on how many different versions there are (due to server strain), but it'd really suck if there's only one battlefield and everyone has to share it.

How about they do the same as for weddings, that seems to work fine..... :roll:

I agree tho, hope they make a few battlefield and STILL allow people to watch tho.

But LS ballista? Friends match? QCDN tournaments? OMG..... sweeeeeeet.
