You fucking gilsellers at KA.

Mules weren't origonal ideas that were implemented in the development of FFXI.

So I ask again, would you rather be able to use the Mog Gil system to send money through your mules and deal with Gil Sellers or Take the time to send the item from your mule to your main and sell it there, and weaken the Gil sellers?

Complain about one or the other. Not both.

Solution to RMT (or part of it):

Disable the ablility to send Gil via Mog House.
Did you even stop and think this idea through in the slightest? It's not even half baked. They already limited the ability to send gil to one person at a time and one mill. What did this accomplish? Will players now have a headache trying to send out money after bcnm and ks. Sending money quickly between yourself and your mule are a nuisance. Gilsellers are still doing business just fine. When someone buys gil, they just have a player meet them in jeuno. That is one of their instructions now for gil buyers, just be in Jeuno and their bank will trade you the gil.

End result with your 'solution': screw normal players over even more. Remove any ability to use mules to sell goods since you can't move gil back to your main without the help of a third party which would increase theft problems. Gilsellers would keep functioning normally by just trading to the buyers in Jeuno. What's next? Remove the ability to trade gil between players?

You can't stop the transfer of gil from the seller to the buyer without completly screwing over normal players. There is just no way to do it. They have to come up with a solution that removes the demand for gilsellers.

I have a mule in Windy, Sandy x2, Bastok, and Jeuno. This enables me to camp every guild so I get items I need for crafting, etc. It is also convenient because the AHs are not all tied together and if something is not up in Windy, well it may be up in Jeuno. To hell with riding to every city to purchase items instead of purchasing it with my mule and sending it to myself.

Also, I can only put 7 things up at one time. Using myself and mules, I can put 42 things up. This can be important when you are putting up consumable items (like food, oils/potions/powders, fish). Why would I do that if I was never going to be able to transfer the gil to purchase the expensive items I need/want? And how am I going to get my start up gil for those characters? I have no desire to go level my mules to farm with for start up gil.

If you cannot send gil to/from mules, then all you have is an extra MH to store your equipment in.

If that was the case, I would just have one mule, and that is $4.00/mo less SE would get from me, and $3.00 less from my boyfriend. I am sure it would be the same for a lot of other people, too. That is a lot of potential revenue loss for SE, and I don't think it would happen for this reason if no other.

Thank you, Rones.

I'd been curious as to how RMT were managing to still conduct their business efficiently since the mail system change and now I know. Mailing gil is now so annoying that my LS has changed its rules on how garrison drops will be handled going forward just to avoid the inconvenience.

To my mind, that sort of begs the question: would SE be willing to conduct "sting" operations with volunteers from within the non-buying/selling player base, allowing people to set up "appointments" with RMT mules so that the owner of those accounts can be banned?

I'm not convinced that SE would go for this. I mean, they obviously showed some anti-RMT sentiment with the mail change, but I can't get one simple thought from kicking around in the back of my head:

Legitimate or RMT - $12.95 is still $12.95.

I think Blazn is one fucken retarded moron that ever stepped in this game and the forums.. and for the RMT's fuck those scums of the earth..

You're getting pissed to the extent where you call RMT peepz scums of the earth lol...

I'm sure the guy that raped your mom and forced her to give birth to you is better than RMT people. Right ;D.
