Look at the buyers who drove up the price. One hasnt been active since 2004. Probably the seller on another account attempting to drive up the price in hopes some idiot would actually bid on it.

The highest price I saw with actual bids was like 1600... which is still retarded since the first wave of PS3's are going to be full of fail.

I'd much rather wait 6 months to a year to get one for a normal price. If I had 9 grand, I'd find better things to spend it on, or at least knock off 3-4 years on my car payment.
