Are you stupid? Oklahoma is apart of the midwest. It's a Great Plain state thusly making it apart of the midwest. The West doesn't start til after the Rocky Mountains last I checked Oklahoma was east of the Rockies.

Last time I checked I've lived in Oklahoma for 26 years. It's part of the South Central plains. The "Midwest" refers to the Ohio River valley area and later covered parts of the Dakotas and Nebraska. It was so named during the 18th century as that area of the U.S. had just been open up to settlement. It was referred to as the "Midwest" because it was thought that the area was more centrally located than it actually is.

Ryme... make sure you invite me if you plan to make an event like that.
