One day in a History of Ancient Civilization class, I wrote down every word the professor said that reminded me of XI...

I had 14 words by the end. It was then I realized I needed a new hobby, or should at least have been paying better attention. I wish I could find that notebook.
 
I find myself saying {yes, please} and {understood} a lot.
 
I don't have any "you know you have been playing ffxi too long when" things, but I do find it funny when people refer to RL stuff in game such as "uh oh, parent aggro" XD

Some of the higher level ones are True Sight.
 
The funniest one that I know of is that one of my salvage group mates had a nightmare about pulling the 10 gears in Bhaflau Remnants. You're playing a little too much when nightmares about the game start to come ;p

Cause when you're there, its not 'fun drama' its a fucking annoyance. "Fun" is the last thing that goes through my head. When the lecturer says "The dia is 0.6" and you scream in your head "No! Dia is 10%!"

Every time I look at math problems these days I see FF formulas...


(For those who don't know the 'dia' the lecturer uses is diameter.)

... yeah, I took a break from FFXI for a couple days after that.
 
shit i do all of the above, idk what I say more irl, understood or even incredibly tough lol I've even caught myself saying true strike, my GF said who the fuck says "true stirke"? she looked at me weird XD

and the dreams of thinking I claimed an nm or bought something on the AH, or friends coming to help with stuff.

also one time i was at the michigan ren fest.. and I saw this girl walking around in a home made RDM costume... I was like wtf, that's just too far. the worst part is I knew what it was and... it actually looked exactly like it.

oh and Blaze... come to diorama ghelsba so i can BEAT YOUR NINJA'S ASS!
