You know you play too much when...

When... I use ;; or ^^ instead of the smile faces... I find my MSN chatting has reflected my writing in FFXI....

Also, on a side note, I started playing some Counterstrike: Source on the side.... ya... I was trying to use the number pad to move around... Then a guy shot me.

You also know you play too much when you dream in text instead of speech....
 
-when you refer to packages of things as stacks in stores....

-WHen you start mapping out places in your city as "Zones" in your head (i'm guilty of this lol, in my head my city has three zones to it >.>)

-When reading FFXI forums or other FFXI related material is something on your day list.

-When you think about what FFXI Music Videos you could make in flash while you listen to music, but you don't have the capability to do so because you play FFXI too much to learn flash

-When your friends come over and ask you to go somewhere, you tell them you made plans with "In-game" friends tonight, and can't go out.

-When you can post in a thread on a forum about things you do to know you are addicted to FFXI.

XD I can't help it. It's usually when I have been up late playing and I dream about my in game friends. I don't have voices to put with them so I guess that's why I dream in text.

Thought of more...

You know you play to much when your Mom calls and asks if you're playing your game before she bothers to try and have a conversation with you.

You get annoyed with your husband (who doesn't play FFXI) because he asks you how many items are in a stack and you call him a noob. (he watches me play all the time though...he should know that by now.)

I am also guilty of telling my RL friends that I can't because I have plans with my in-game friends.

I'm sure more will come to me as the day goes by...
 
Yeah - when I am up late playing (Sunday Static) I dream in freaking party or linkshell text >< And wake up EXHAUSTED :cry:
 
When you try to use FRAPS to record RL events... As I've tried to. <.<

You know you've played too much when...

Every night bedtime sneaks up on you or you miss it completly. "OMG it's midnight already?!" (I'm tired everyday at work fyi ;) )
Somedays you miss dinner and the weird things is you aren't even hungry.
You plan out what you need to accomplish in-game while at work.
You post alot on QCDN.org and are known to spam the F5 button waiting for a response.

I could write more...
 
You alter your rreal life schedule around events that are happening in game.
You talk with LS friends more then you do with real life friends or family.
You try to warp back after you pay for something at the store.
 
I think my worst was using an auto-translate phrase IRL...

granted, I was very tired...

But someone asked me if I wanted to go out and do something...

And I said...

Maybe the people of Portland play FFXI too much because well......there are 3 zones in this city. :shock:

You constantly read the boards everyday even though you quit the game over a month ago.
