There are Grey area's in all aspects of life, including the portion spent gaming. Not everyone has problems sleeping at night if they don't have the +2 version of all equipment.
You may be an adult in the meager portion of time spent in the real world, what with haveing a family and all. But you really need to grow up and not act like a 12 year old in game and on the boards.

I have never had a flame about ditching a party or fucking something up about me. I am always the first to help damn near ANYONE with ANYTHING they need with no questions. Hell I am probably TOO nice ingame. Ask the guy that other than these forums I never really talked too ingame what he thinks about me when I helped him/provided TH2 for Argus so he could have a PCA. Hell i even offered the help, he never asked, went down there and we came back out with a shiney new PCA in a flash.
I was just excited to see him happy, along with the numerous Genkai 2s i have tanked, Ohat runs I have tanked, Joyeuses I have tanked, NMs i have teleported out of my way just so I could stick it once for TH2 just to list a very small few. THESE ARE PEOPLE I TALK TO ONCE A MONTH IF THAT not fucking LS mates, LS mates even bring something up and I am there no questions asked.
Those who are loyal to me I am loyal back and they know how I am in game, those who leech off other's work can get the fuck out for real.

Anyway, I will be the first to get on the Vang bandwagon to agree how great he is ingame. He may be an eliteist bastard on the boards (hell, I'll go so far to say he can be a downright dick), but when it comes to you needing him ingame he's great. He's just a very intense person I guess.

I've camped every good NM on this game...and never got one drop. Well the Geyser Lizard always drops for me and so does Stinging Sophie. But I've put thousands of gil in Iron ore into the ground and never got that drop. I've beaten lizzy to a bloody pulp 13 times with no drop, I've killed I don't know how many stroper chimes with nothing, Panzer Percival can blow me, Ashmaker Gotblut can piss off, Stray Mary is a whore, Valkrum Emporer can kiss my ass, blah blah blah fuckity fuck nms. They just don't like me in this game.
I get great drops from BCNMs though 8). So I guess it all evens out. I'll wait till my THF is 55 til I start hunting NMs again.

What makes a more advanced gamer?
My gaming experience is much much different from yours Vang. Could be why we never see each other ingame.
I have the capacity to organize, lead, and win just about every fight in this game. I lead people through zones I have never been to, I create strategies on BC and ENM fights that most people have never heard of.
Granted I have all the best gear and can make millions when I need to so I am multi-faceted, but I have friends in this game with an unmatched ability to organize and lead(much better than myself) but don't like to take the time to make gil. I also know people that are unbelievable at any job they play, but unfortunately cannot organize, create, or lead any type of fight or event.
Can you lead Vang? You can be the best NM camper in the galaxy, however, if you cannot get the respect and attention of 18 people (or 64 in Dynamis) you are not the best. Hell, I can spam provoke and claim most NMs. In fact the best claimer in this game I know of is Andreas. You probably never have heard of him, but he could be the best ninja JP or NA on this server, and he took Drg to endgame before Ninja.
Basically my point is that there are so many levels to this game, so many different personalities are needed to accomplish things. You need leaders and you need followers, you need NM campers so people like myself can buy the shit, and people like yourself can make money.
Who is better? Me or you? That question cannot be answered because we play 2 totally different games. Who is better? You or Lavi? That question cannot be answered, but I know Lavi is one of the most competent mages I get the privelege of working with. Who is better? You or my little brother who just bought the game. That cannot be answered either. He already figured out shit that I didn't know and he has the attitude to turn out to be one of the best leaders on our server.
So put your ego away(lord knows I need to keep mine in check)and enjoy the game, rather than try to prove something to it.
