No one has ever heard of that book That's so cool, the guy who wrote it graduated from my high school a few years before I did^^Empyrean~ Synonym for 'Elysian', sort of. Elysian has been on my online and console handle for several years, ever since I read a book called Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon. Rhapsody (the main character, duh) had a secret hidey-hole which she named Elysian~ derived from 'Ellysium,' I its greek/latin/roman/something-over-in-that-area for some dead civilizations view of heaven. I'm not a history buff, don't kill me for my confusion of the origin. Anyways, games have always been my haven, so the name seemed appropriate. When I started FFXI, my original character was actually named Elysian, but the account was sadly on a friends computer, and I was unable to transfer it when I got my own copy of the game. Empyrean and Idyll have been Elysian's brother and sister in several stories I've written over the years, so Empyrean seemed a logical second choice.^^
Elysian~ When the 30 day wait period thing was over, Elysian was reborn on my own account.
Idyll~ Sort of another synonym of Elysian/Empyrean, Idyll has, as stated above, been the brother of my female mischief-makers in several outside instances. Seemed logical to make a make taru and name him such.
Side note: In an attempt to preserve the concept of the brother/sister relationship, all my tarus have the same haircolor; blonde with pink/red tips. ^.~ It's also somewhat amusing that I get periodic tells asking if I played another online game; (I'm going to say Ardwolf, but I don't remember for sure) apparently Empyrean was the name of a race there.

well i got my name from one of my favorite books "the legend of huma" i tend to name my mules and char in everything after char in books i have read.. like , lordsoth- the death knight, pikel - the dwarf doo-dad(hehe.. he is a druid in the ra salvatore books) drizzzt (everyone knows the dual wielding drow) and a new guy cause i have respect for a ingame char maatslittlebro- a taru monk ^^
