Well it starts with my dad. He's owned Z's all of his life having owned17 or 18 of them. He currently owned a 240z which he is restoring and a 280zx turbo. There is a Z club in the city I live, and my dad is the treasurer/parts guy of it.(If you looked at my backyard it's full of parts. We have $1000's of dollars worth of Z parts.)

I'm nearly 17 and I'm planning on getting my license as soon as my 1year probationary period of my learners expires in September. What good is a liscence if you don't have a car right? I love Z's just as much as my father, so we've been looking around for one for myself. I was at work one day and when I got home my dad told me that a lady had contacted the owner of the Z club and she was looking to sell a 240. Not just any 240, the 137th 240 EVER MADE. Only about 20 cars under 200 are left.

This is a very very rare car. The interior is butterscotch, has the nice plasticy trunk liner/floors, there is about a 1inch star in the headliner. The console is in not so good condition, but I'm sure we have one or 320 lying around. Has the standard 2.5L inline 6 engine.

So we went to this ladies house to check it out. It's in superb condition. No outer rust. Afew paint chips. It runs fine, there are afew mechanical issues but we are car guys nothing is too bad to fix. Anyway short story long, I may be getting this rare car!

I only have 1 picture on this computer for the moment(I don't have much webspace) but if you would like to see any specific part I would be happy to get a photo for you.

Dirty, but still amazing.

Once I find my camera I'll get a few pics of my dad's 240's engine.

god i love the fairlady's... i have a 1990 300zx myself. That appears to be quite an awesome find GL and i hope u get it for a reasonable price only thing... not everyone is the best of drivers when they first get a liscence perhaps til u turn 21 u could have this as a project car and drive a beater to get the common new liscence mistakes outta the way. It would be a shame to see something that cherry get totaled in the hands of and avoidable mistake. Just my opinion.

Why are the plates blanked out? you think someone might call the cops and report the car stolen or something as a joke?
Not that i've ever done that to a random person i saw on the street...

If we decide to buy it, it will be for 5-8,000 CND. Very very cheap. It's a long story but the car is this ladies fathers who is getting on in age. And she wants to sell it by early august to a good home. We are considering buying it, restoring what needs to then selling it for a fair amount of profit.

I've been driving for a year now. My parents are very strict with driving, a mistake pretty much means I don't drive until I buy my own car and move out. So I'm incredibly careful in anything I do while driving. We need to do work on it before it will pass inspection (there is small amounts of rust on the frame rails and floor-pans.) So I will have time to practice. It may even end up being my father will take this 240 and I'll "inherit" his orange 240. It's all up in the air at the moment though.
