Zelda (opinion) Which one is the best?

A Link to the Past or Wind Waker....I'm kinda torn

Legend of Zelda. The Gold cartridge on NES. Gotta love old school.

A Link to the Past

But, the Gold Cartridge commands the most respect.

Edit: Changed Gold Cartridge to a proper noun.

Man, all Zeldas are the best. Can't we just be happy with that?!

I have to say Wind Waker. That's the only Zelda variant that got me all sad when I knew I was almost finished. Plus.. how can you NOT LOVE messing around with that stick thingy and making some jacked up versions of the wind songs??

Original OWNS!!!!!!!!
...Not that I have a basis of comparison. Except for that time I had a roomie who literally locked himself in the basement to play Ocarina for weeks and weeks straight. I pretty certain his grades suffered....Gee!

Zelda makes me skip school.

OLD SKOOL. YEAH YEA!!!!!!

Just when you thought it was done it freaking starts all over again.

Between Windwaker and Link's Awakening (handheld Zelda was awesome)

I stilll need to buy The Minish Cap. ><

Unfortunately, a Zelda without Pig Ganon is not a complete Zelda.

Sorry, but I think someone who discovered that you could push a block to open a door in the first dungeon and the rest of your friends at your eighth birthday party cheer you on for finding out that "EASTMOST PENINSULA IS THE SECRET" has a say in things like this.

Yeah, that was fuckin' me. I killed Aquamentus that night.

Edit: I need to amend this nonsense. A Zelda where Ganondorf doesn't change into Pig Ganon makes me feel empty inside. It's still a complete Zelda.

Anyway, I really only wanted to tell the story of getting props at my birthday party for finding the old man. That triumph ranks up there with the time I set a mayonnaise pit-trap for the Spanish kid outside of my cabin at summer camp.

You mean mean there are people that actually liked windwaker?

it was one of the worst games I've ever played, let alone Zelda games.
dosen't desrve the title. beat in in 7 hours playtime over a period of 4 days, allthough I did not 100% complete it, I didn't use a walkthru or even glance at a FAQ. That game was a sad pathetic premature release of a game.

All other Zelda games kick ass. Especially LttP and OoT.

Windwaker did have a nice new tool tho. I liked the grappling hook.... both times I had to use it......

4 dungeons.... pitiful

Zelda is definately my favorite gaming series of all time. The ring tone on my cell phone is the Zelda theme, I believe my GBA and/or DS has a Zelda game in it, my GameCube has the Zelda Collector's Disc in it, my current Winamp playlist is all Zelda music. Zelda is just great.

Here's my problem. I can't pick just one game as the best in my opinion. I like all of them. I'd have to think about it. I'd probably say LttP, OoT, MM, or WW.

Link to the Past and Wind Waker are probably the best, but my favorite is still Link's Awakening because it surprised me they could cram so much Zelda goodness on a Game Boy cartridge.
