in kaz... exp'ing my nin, leader invs a blm, level 29 names Marcux. no ls, bad gear, anons as soon as invd so i didn't see his sub.

Clearly an exp bot, Casted the same spells in the same order, healed under 25% mo always to full, Didn't stop casting for hate, didn't respond to tells... so i call a gm... and then....

about 20 mins later... GM Ephelios tells me, asks to report what i saw, i did, Then i heckle him and ask him to restore my faith in the system...

2 mins later... WARP ANIMATION

That or maybe the majority of the player base doesn't know how to make a proper GM call and thats why things seemingly don't go anywhere.

Personally, I believe my theory among anything else for some strange reason. Even my joke call that got sellers temporarily removed from Western Shadow a year or so ago was pretty detailed. It helps to have a GM actually manage to respond while the act is going on, much like both this topic, and my joke call.

Think it also partly depends on which GM you get really. I mean, this, as a small example, is more or less the GM letting them get away with some of the most obvious forms of hacking there is, and he was there for a good 80% of the Serket fight.

Hafto say though, it is very nice to see GMs actually doing something. Last week they actually got about 3/4 of Tarutaruhome to leave Ulli camp. Shame he didn't pop, but it still is a very nice change of pace.

I was messing around with my mate in dynamis and reported him because he was stealing all the coins, I got a response in roughly 3 minutes after reporting him, and although I got some of the same responses as normal, he was happy enough to put up with me asking him to make RDM AF drop

If I had the technical expertise, I'd photoshop a GM in a GAP commercial wearing khakis. But I don't, so I phail ;-;
