And it all starts with this guy:
But we'll get to him in a moment...
So back in the day, when I was just a little noob hiding in a cave hunting Argus...
I had very few friends in my cave... What I did get was a small fortune. At the time when 100k was an insane amount of money to average players and things like Peacock Charms were reserved for the elite, I had sold roughly 8 or so. One to a player by the name Scypio. Long story short, Scypio quit and said he was selling his account to IGE and was sick of people asking for his shit, I then asked him for his Peacock Charm out of humor, we laughed about it. I wished him luck, and that was that.
Then came me getting invited into Kaizen. Aparently Kisada thought me asking Scypio for the Peacock Charm, his close friend at the time, was rude and deplorable, even in gest. So much so he decided that he didn't like me, I was "Greedy" and went through great efforts to run my name through the mud during my induction. (Or so I am told)
Recap: Friend RMT'ing account < Joking about greedy people.
Lets move on.
Lets talk about limbus.
Priority system: PLD > all on most items save for body, that was dedicated to thief.
And the point costs were fixed relatively low excpet for body. Until of course the paladins got equiped; 1 Pld was a senior member, and 2 were officers. Please note that at this time Kaizen split; mainly because there was a secondary group of people that wanted to do thier own limbus because they didn't want to deal with the current rule system. (More on this later) The limbus system eventually went to a "Most Points wins the item" with flat costs that were a lot more that previously. This allowed Kisada to get his Homam Cosciales for his Dark, and subsequently never showed up to a single farming run from that point on. At that point all priorities and rules were removed leaving all items to be bid on a raw bidding system. To give you an idea of the progression, Plds spent 13 points (13 runs) getting fully geared (Hands/Feet/Pants) And once geared, points rose to over 13 points just for one piece. Sure, a coincidence... My final Pieces cost me 34/47 Points iirc, just to put things into perspective. A bunch of people had to put in 4-12x as much effort for thier gear that people got and quit going.
Side Note:
The raw bidding system... Andreas ignored a bid from Talindra for Nashira Seraweels and awarded them to Jedimind, even though Tali had more points. Andy was an officer at the time. Go go favoratism. Andy later lotted a D.Ring for his Ninja, and quit...
Moving on still.
Lets talk about my Ridill.
Not many people know this; but I never bid on my Ridill. I asked Kisada what the minimum bid was, and 30 seconds later he said I won. In the meantime it turns out, he was trying to get Hailie to bid while taking points. The reason for this? He didn't want Jolin to get a Ridill. I paid a whopping 80 points for my Ridill, where most members payed 2-3x that amount, all because Kisada didn't want Jolin to have a Ridill...
Why would a leader do this to its members? Well the irony is this, as stated previously Jolin and a few others were trying to do Limbus on thier own time with thier own rules. A theme that pops up later in Kaizen history, I'll get to that in just a sec.
The point systems evolved several times, usually ONLY after leaders got affected, or in the case of certain items (Ridill, AV drops, etc) no rules or priorities were set until leaders all had thiers. And well it wasn't just limited to leaders, but leaders' mules... Kisada gave Herald's Gaiters to his Goldsmithing mule/Black Mage, Andreas Lotted W.legs for both his main and his Mule, anyone else that lotted for thier mules at least had the decency to only try to get freelot items.
Moving on further.
Let's talk about Maestoso, and the "Maestosites".
Not really much to talk about really, he's just an angry kid trying to fit in. We hung out a couple times, always asking me info on NMs, and such, I helped him unlock his Destroyers and what not. But once he found out the leader, Kisada, had beef with me, suddenly HE had to have beef with me too. (Or in more crass terms: Kisada's dick was dry, and Meast's mouth was open at the time.) Meast's honestly never had an opinion that wasn't someone elses. I actually feel sorry for him. Meast is the kind of people Kisada surrounded himself with. A bunch of 'yes-men' that never questioned what was going on. And always were tripping over each other for a chance to lick his nuts. So there grew this ever-increasing clique of people that wanted me out of the shell because I didn't fit in. The people that did take to time to get to know me all had the same response, "You're not at all like they said you were." And they came to me as the frontman when Kisada/Meatsoto would make some obviously transparent rule change that benefits them...
So as stated before, there was a group that was pissed on for wanting to do thier own limbus. They didn't like the limbus rules and decided to go in a separate group. The leaders all yelled at them and basiclaly all but kicked the offending group out of the shell.
Enter hypocrasy...
Kaizen started having groups lead my Siresativa usually, go out and get things like sky items, sea pops, etc. This allowed quite a few members to 'triple-dip' the system:
1) they get points for turing in the pop items that drop.
2) they get the items without spending points on it.
3) since they have more points because they aren't spending any, they have more buying power to buy items during normal LS events.
This was all brought to the leaders' attention, and for the most part nothing came of it(mostly because a leader was involved in one of the side groups in one way or another)
Recap: Linkshell members + leader bypassing point system < Linkshell members bypassing point system.
Greasing palms, the Kaizen passtime.
There's a few other irrelevant dipshits like Siresativa that deserve an honorable mention. He has only sucessfully skillchained 3 times the entire time I been in Kaizen. And rarely does he use TH gear, His e-peen > the linkshell's drops... (Which is ironic because he sees no value in haste gear) Glad he's banned, he was just so brutish and dim.
Little bit more recent.
Lets talk about the "Pep Talks"
Kisada took it upon himself to inform the linkshell of how awesome kaizen use to be, and that everyone in the shell was not preforming to expectations. He related to the days of old (when the most challenging thing in the game was Nidhogg or maybe Tiamat/Vrtra) and really talked up the accomplishments of the old crew. Especially one member Extereem, who periodically died on the first or second magic burst every fucking time, and remained dead for the rest of the fight.
Lets recap:
1 guy dies within the first 10 minutes > 9 guys killing harder mobs in 1/4 the time 0 deaths...
And he really ground that in, in LS talk, and on the forum...
And now...
Remember this guy?
Cute ain't he.
Well as it turns out that original owner of Cookie there is THE person that wrote the Fishbots that Kisada's Cousin Sote used. The same bots used to bankroll Kisada's Relic Katana. Its been preserved by Bigboy for this very day. (Sorry Svina, I would have told you earlier, but I couldn't) Ironically "Cookiecrumbs" is the only legit/clean/bot free character of the mass... (On a side note, Bigboy quit kaizen when he remembered where he saw Kisada's name before... Collecting bot money from Sote!)
It's ok, Kisada lives on; inherited a Goldsmithing mule now from a "Close Friend" and basically uses the LS bank to craft with for his personal gain. (He doesn't take the money, he just uses it as working capital and keeps only the profits, what a nice guy) This account by the way was nicely asked to be returned to the original owner, to which Kisada said "No, I put too much time into it." (Couple merits, and a subjob iirc) I don't think it was anything equalling leveling multiple jobs on two different ID's on the same account and leveling Goldsmithing to 100... Don't be dillusional, we all know why you kept Bellia/Nept... It was a money factory, and you're a greedy human being.
Now where are we today? Well, I knew Kisada would eventually slip up and give away at least one of the hacks he would use... Its the main reason I was so, shall we say, "vocal" in previous Anti-Kaizen threads. For the love of god, I practically BEGGED someone to come out of the woodwork and smear these assholes... In the end, I knew you'd cave Kisada, its your nature. Kinda stings that I could see this coming a mile away; and that I know you better than you do. lol...
How very "OH" of you!!!!
And quite a few of them thanked me for being an obsticle to your "help"...
You're arrogant enough to think you were doing it for the "benefit of the linkshell". Your greed got Pop sets, The Linkshell Bank, Relics, and other things removed from the people that worked for them. What kind of a leader does that? How is THAT "looking out for the linkshell"?
Oh right, he was "Kind enough" to "give" the linkshell 50 mil "from his personal holdings" because the linkshell bank was lost... No no no you fucking dipshit, YOUR money was lost when YOU got BANNED, not the linkshell's... You are not giving the linkshell anything.
Once you start cheating at a game, you're no longer playing it...
Well damn, I guess that has a double meaning now doesn't it...
But we'll get to him in a moment...
