Well..... my first job was a WAR which I took up to 18 so that I could get my subjob. I levelled MNK as my sub and my WAR is now 40. I really really like playing WAR and the damage I am dealing at the moment is great fun. Recently, I have been levelling MNK again so that I can level WAR...

I installed this, my god the difference is incredible ! THANK YOU !

Thanks for everyones comments, I will take a look at these now.

Ghostinmyshell, that looks infinitely better than how it looks on my PC. I do have a question about windower. Can you get banned by using this app ? Also, this may be a stupid question, but what does it do ? Does it simply allow you to play FFXI in window or is there more to it than that ?

I am playing FFXI on both my Xbox 360 and PC. Now FFXI on the 360 looks great, no jagged edges and really smooth. Now when I play on the PC, there are NO smooth lines with jagged edges everywhere. It doesn't look great to be honest. Now I know that the 360 version has been upgraded with...

I have only ever played FFXI on the Xbox 360 but I will give the keyboard a go. I will be playing on a 17" widescreen laptop. WASZ to move around seem sensible with the cursor keys for selecting menus, etc. If I can set it up like that then I should be ok. If I can't get used to it then I...

I will be playing on a laptop so I won't have the numeric keypad. Will this cause any problems ? Also, I am more of a console gamer than a PC gamer so a controller is second nature to me. The Xbox 360 controller is superb and FFXI is VERY easy to play with it.

Hi ! I am currently playing FFXI on my Xbox 360. The controller does a great job of being able to do all the functions you would want your character to do. Now, I have gone out and bought FFXI for the PC too as I will be working away for the next month and want something to do in the...

Anybody from Bastok interested ? If so, please send me a PM or reply here. Thanks for looking.

Just to confirm, can I play FFXI on my laptop via 56k dial-up ? Will it be playable using this ?

Yeah I just realised that after looking on a few sites. Thanks for the replies.

Cheers for that ! I have seen this one posted in another thread: Which one is this ?

I was just wondering what it looked like in your Mog House ? Anybody got a pic of it ?

No worries. I should be on before that so just send me a /tell when you get on. My character name is Daipac. I am from San D'Oria so I will be loitering around there as I want to start levelling my SMN and BRD.

Galadrios, if you want to, I will do it with you and we can try for the HQ aswell if you want ? You are from the UK too so I should be on at the same sort of times as you.
