Just an update, Other people's Gold Swords still look normal, but now my Enhancing Sword looks like Excalibur^^ haha it's so distracting. Most likely other's E sword got upgraded as well, but haven't seen one on another character yet.

Just curious if Job Specific Merits are active if they are Sub job-ed? i.e. You lvl you 75 Red Mage and Merits in + in wind accuracy. When you play your 75 Blm/Rdm, are those RDM merits active? I recall reading somewhere that they arn't, anyone offer some insight?

Buy those sexy rare killer effect earrings mid 60's lvl I think. One for every type of mob, so dress accordingly. Inv space is the big issue here. Also thf uses bloodbolts/def down bolts often, so if you want to truely excel in solo, items would probably be recommended.

Sounds like a video card issue as well. You might want to check if your drivers are compatible with FFXI, which sadly uses older drivers in order to work properly. There is a thread somewhere that list compatible drivers for various videocard if you search the forums using the search function.

Myrrh Can you elaborate how the logistic of those hats work? Are they paired to 2 specific players? Or I say use my guide hat with your sprout one, even though I didn't give you your original pass?
