one str adds ~0.5% dmg to your WS due to double action: on fSTR and WSC ( STR 75% mod), so osode will give +2% ish dmg compared to haubergeon, which is huge. Not to mention that the 12 attack on haubergeon is useless for anythign that's not a high level HNM.

its not good. STR is double because its 25% str WSC and also 4 STR adds fstr by one, so in the end it's like having 50% STR mods ( minus some roundings). just going for mnd is stupid because there is always an AH item or equivalent that give same amount of str. ALso do not forget attack...
